On a slight note, I hope people will know that I am indeed XtremeLightning. It was my fault getting a stupid name for battle.net when I should've just used my universal name on the forums.

Alright, this is my first RPG and this is an ALPHA version, so it isn't near finished. Just want to point out a few notes:

1) THE MAP IS LAGGY AND ENDS IMMATURELY! It's Alpha version so I haven't compressed the game and I haven't finished the playing map either. The abilities, however, are fully done, and the archer will have stats to upgrade all the way up to level 300, but you'll probably run out of stuff to kill upon reaching level 10-15.

2) PLAY AS RED! My idea of an expandable map revolves around Red playing as an ordinary hero but also as a sort of DM. With but a command he can open up gateways to farther places. Typing "open 01" will open the first passage, which leads from the basic place to the forest and the city of Murgad, where you may find your Library with some books to spend your pages on. Typing "open 02" will lead to a Demon Door, a special boss. Please let me know if he doesn't attack or does something else strange. After the Demon Door is the immature opening into the other 3/4s of the level, which is totally empty as I haven't worked on it.

3) BE CAREFUL WITH WHAT HERO YOU CHOOSE! I'm certain both work, but the Swordsman does 1 more damage yet at melee so he may get you farther faster than an Archer (which fires basically melee since the Fire Safely gives so much range that I don't want to change without making the ability too strong or too useless, so I have to start the archer off with a petty range of 300. It does however, at level 100, have it so that you have a range of 5300. That may be too much still, though....)

You can revive, fortunately, but you don't lose the last three inventory items like it says you do.

Black Markets are like a pricey storage in Solo, if you don't like leaving your items on the ground. Pawning your item to a Black Market SHOULD give the item into their stock, and buying it off from them will take it off. Let me know if this doesn't work.

Let me know how the music is, I'm attempting to add flavor, if only a little, to the RPG. I'm certain it works, I'm just not certain if you think it fits the theme in which it plays. Bosses have themes

Good to hear that. I just wanted to put it out so I could get firsthand knowledge of how the triggers work.

In edition to those abilities, there are going to be many other ones, such as a Cooking Skill, a Fishing Skill, a Mining Skill, a Blacksmithing Skill, and so on. All will be kept track of by a private leaderboard displayed to only that person.

Most of this stuff will be seen in the "Wilderness" once I have it fenced in and what not. It will span from the outermost terrained point to the end of the map, making an easy 1/4th extra area. Here you will be able to make your own towns and such in the higher versions.

-------------------------------------------------

Alright, here is an Update!

The Map isn't any different except that the music is now compressed (via Ryoko's help)! The result? A significant reduction in size, and the music doesn't sound any different.

If you want a less laggy map, download this one, and it should download all the faster as well.

Alright, new updates will be added once they are tested to work.

Here are a few notes of updating:

1) Twice as large map! Well, at least, I've filled in that 1/4th I was talking about and am currently working on another 1/4th, which will include a mini-AoS, a mini-arena, and much, much more.

2) Thrice as much detail! Environment has been spruced up, whilst the terrain has grown more detailed, with bumps and tile decoration.

3) Twice as much stuff to do!

4) Compressed to the MAX. The map is a whopping .3 MB, not 3.2. Truth is, with all the additives and more compressed music, the map soared from 3.2 MB to 16 MB, so I dropped it back down to .3 by just removing the extra music and using music in with the game, so some of it may be familiar. I apologize for this, but it's the best I can do. Blame it on the Editor's failure to recognize imported music files as being as small as the ones pre-packed.

5) A readme. I strongly suggest you read all of it--except the Walkthrough (you should know how to get through the game yourself). The readme will state a few of these updates except for the compression.
