The Review - This map has got to be one of the worst I ever saw. This is supposed to be a hero arena but it is of so low quality that it can barely qualify as a map. - First of all, the terrain is horrible. It's basically just blizz cliff and doodad spam. No effort at all has been put into making this terrain. - At the start you get to choose from 6 different heroes. Because the triggers are so screwed up you can only choose one of those 6 heroes and that hero you chose has only 30 mana and it takes you 70 mana minimum to cast one of the 3 non edited, non triggered basic warcraft 3 spells. I think I was level 6 when I was able to have enough max mana to actually fire a spell. - There are no items in the game whatsoever. There are 3 creature types: Spiders, Ogres and Grunts. - There is no description in the map description, there is no description in the loading screen, nor in the quest log. - The author of the map does not credit the makers of the models he used anywhere. |
Overall - Possibly one of the worst maps I've reviewed so far. Not only is your hero selection screwed up but the 1 hero you can select has 3 basic warcraft 3 spells and no mana to cast them. The terrain is horrible, there are no items, no creature variation and no information on how to play the game or what your goal is. Also, you don't credit the makers of the models. |
My Advice - Get a new hobby, seriously. If you don't plan to spend more then 15 minutes making a map don't even try. - Improve your terrain, fix the hero selection, fix the hero mana bug, add more creature variation, add items, add a description, add a victory condition, modify the spells and make them more fun, credit the model authors. |
