Sudoku by Manix

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
This is the map I was working on recently, it's basically a single player sudoku generator which creates different sudoku puzzles every time loaded, I'm going to be working on a multi player version if I get positive comments on that version, aswell as I'm open and looking for suggestions to make the multi player version better ^^

It would be nice if the boxes for each number were a solid color to reduce eyestrain, by using a custom model. Also, boxes that have been filled in at the start of the game should be a different color than boxes that are empty or have been filled in by the player. This could be done by simply removing the doodad and replacing it with a differently shaded doodad.

The ability to switch between pen and pencil would also be a welcome change. In some sudoku games, you can "pencil" in multiple numbers into the same square, to mark things that the square can (or cannot) be.

Right now, I feel as though this game is lacking anything different from a sudoku puzzle booklet, or some other online remakes of the game (though nothing like this to my knowledge has been created in Warcraft III). If the map was multiplayer, and you could have competitions to which person completes their board the fastest, then it would make for an interesting game. I do applaud your programming effort in making this game, though.

You must have some good algorithms to construct this.
Very impressive.
I think I finished a puzzle correctly, but wasn't sure how to know if I had officially won or not.

Well there is an ability in your sudoku buddy called "Check". Using it will allow you to see if your puzzle is correct, as well as showing you which numbers are wrong, if any.

Looks good, great triggering.

At the moment, I would suggest more modes, some that cannot be done in magazines and some that can be done in magazines.
A Chaos Sudoku woul be a good example of a new mode.
I don't really have ideas for sudoku's that can't be done in magazine's right now :/

The colors were annoying me, though: the green doesn't go well with the tileset.
The sudoku guy wasn't really bothering me, but perhaps it would be better if you place a few static units (without shadow and as model "_" or something), so you can always click on any numbers.
A fixed camera would also be good (you can lock it to a static unit in the middle).

Quite good, yet it needs a lot of work, I would suggest putting this in the map development forum, it's there for a reason ^^
