'Welcome to battle.net. Population: You, and thousands of jerks. Enjoy your stay!'
Or so says the splintered sign lying in the mud. So this is the legendary battle.net you've heard of. Thousands of ladder wars, clan wars, and flame wars have been waged here. In these harsh wastelands, anything goes. Glitches are abundant, trolls ravage every forum, and smurfs rampage through the towns of newbies. And now it's you're turn to choose your own path: Hacker, Gosu, Forum Troll, Backstabber, Custom Gamer, Blizzard Executive... It's up to you. Choose sides, and fight for your clan. Team mascots cheer you on, random events wreck the battle field, and distant quests cry out for heroes. Hunt for rare artifacts, gain the trust of legendary warriors, steal the enemy flag to cripple their clan recruitment, and destroy the rival base. Win, and be glorified as a hero! Lose... and you can always blame it on your stupid allies.

Reign of Satire 3 is a parody of battle.net, Warcraft, and pop-culture in more general terms--It's been in the works since 2003, and after 2 failed earlier versions (RoS 1 & 2, of course), a semi-playable version has emerged. The gameplay is difficult to explain: as in a standard AoS/DotA map, you only control a hero, and computer controlled spawned units attack the enemy base. However, you're not actively involved in the real war: instead, you fight to upgrade and empower your spawned units through a hybrid of capture the flag, hero arenas, and dungeon crawling. There's probably some tower defense in there somewhere as well. This beta version is unfinished, but it still large enough (huge, in fact) to be enjoyed, even if some bugs remain!

VGsatomi: Approved. Large map with lots of things to do. People still tend to focus on the AoS portion and ignore the other areas, though. Looks like some time was put into this.

erm... are you sure this is an RPG? lol
me and my friend played this map, it's really great... but I have no clue what it's supposed to be :D
(little bit AOS - RPG - minigame :p) maybe that's what makes this map so good...
anyway; it's funny, nice details, no story at all, but still great.
but I was wondering how you get cheese and unlock dungeons, you should make quests for that :) (or didn't i look good enough? :s)
