I didn't mean the one you said.
I am sure that "The color of the gem on your purple variation is between magenta and purple" because I have seen your blp file and checked the hue values of its pixels.

Hue value? Every color have it to show what color it is.
Red's is 0.
If the maxium hue value of your picture making program is 360, green's would be 120(360/3), blue would be 240, cyan would be 180(360/2), and purple would be 270.

u know, i might be mistaken, but shouldnt it be possible to give an item teamcoloring skin, so that u only need 1 model for all those color variations?
