Ok guys here are the games new features:
-lvl up to lvl 20
-Several Custom Abilities
-All heroes have a custom skin or model that came from this site
-Custom icons for some heroes and some abilities
-several customs skins for some bosses
-playable by 1 to 4 players(Only one hero per player. If a player leaves, then the enemies become weaker. YES, it can be played singleplayer)
-Newer cinematics
-Barbarian swears\curses much more than before(pretty much every sentence he makes has a curse\swear word)
-Heroes are now more equally balanced
-More noob friendly (but noobs who have never played an RPG will still have trouble)
-Easier enemies at the start
-Enemies less overwhelming
-New Weapon\armor shop
-Better rewards from killing non-essential bosses
-New Tome Shop(Tomes can be bought with lumber. Lumber is aquired by beating bosses)
-Intro Cinematic is now more easily skipped
-New Screenshot(Saweet!)
-Town Portal is always open and is open to any friendly unit now.
-Several bugs fixed (BlahBlahBlah)
-Still no save load system bc Save/Load would be kinda stupid to implement in a game like this. Its a Story RPG rather than Mindless fighting and leveling up.

Go ahead and try it out. I played it on LAN, by myself, and on Bnet. All three worked out fine. The people on BNET seemed to enjoy it. Please let me know of any bugs or any suggestions.

Right, what story? So ya there is the basic "evil" threating the world and then hero's are summoned.. Ok, way generic, but then what?

About the only thing going for this map is the custom models. After spending about 4 hours playing with one other person, I just stopped. What is to keep players playing? It's the same shit, over and over, sounds hmm like Mindless fighting and leveling up, how you put it.

The item selection sux ass in this game. What is there to look forward too? I mean seriously, so yea the monsters get stronger and more show up.. So what can you do as a player, hmmm let's see, you get some lumber every once in awhile and can get some crappy tome upgrades, but you have to resort to buying the same merc unit's that just do jack shit eventually.

Then you get these quest items that don't say jack shit and give you no reference at all to where they go. So you make it in about half way, well guess what, NO SECOND town so it's verry tedious to walk all the way back, each time.

The abilities and icon's per class were good, from what I saw.

This map has a lot of potential, but is still very lacking. Consider the player's when making a RPG.

There is no need for a second town, mainly because your town portal scrolls can bring you back to town and then bring you back to your original location. So theres no reason why you had to walk back and forth to town.
Ya I do somewhat agree with you about the story, but the characters have more spunk than most other RPGs, which make them interesting. I swear everytime I play someone has to pick the Barbarian or Necromancer just because of the way they act.
Also the Mercs dont do jack shit when you actually use that town portal spell. You can bring them to town instanly and heal them, and if they are too weak, you can upgrade their equipment.

That is all I have to say.

Ok, about the scroll of town portals, I didn't notice that they did that, but it's kind of a waste of an item slot don't ya think? I wouldn't even use a pot, due to you need every freaking item you can get to try to stay alive.

I will agree about the character personalities, the intro deffinatly gave me a good laugh, hell I even picked the barb cause he was hillarious. That is another thing going for this map.

As for the merc's, I had them all upgraded armor/attack the whole three levels you can go, and it still doesn't help much.

You should add at least 2 more towns. One reason would be for ppl that don't like having the scroll of town portal in thier inventory. Another reason, you could add more merc's, more items, more of everything else.

If you don't want to add in the towns, then make the warp a spell that costs mana. If that doesn't work, make it a trigger based action to preserve an item spot.

Another thing, I was lv 20 after maybe a lil before half way. This leaves me nothing further to look forward too. There isn't a story that keep playing going, as well as there is no item either. I know it's alot of work to edit each spell for all the hero's up to whatever lv and it takes time balancing, but it is way worth it in the end.

Give it some thought :twisted:
