Ogron

In Game
OgronShowcase-1.jpg

The larger and more primal relative of the Ogres, the Ogron are massive single-eyed brutes wielding gnarly spiked clubs with an even worse temper.
In the past, they were part of the Breakers family derived from the great Grond but are now primarily used as bruisers and guards by the Ogre clans.
Based on the Ogrons from World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.
Comes in three versions: Yellow, Red and Teal.
Team colors included.
Custom icons available for each color and only one custom texture needed per model.
Please credit me if you use this model.

Updated with small tweaks, new portrait camera for Teal and new shared one for Red and Yellow.

Enjoy!

You made a better version, than i did with the Ogron. No Major Issues whatsoever. Setting to Approved. --------------------------------------------- Although do consider adding more Portrait animations. While i know the animations are from...

These are incredible. I have no need of it but I am in love with how you've captured the Wc3-style yet again, adapting the progenitor-Ogres into a really sick model. With variations/icons! Good work. : )

Honestly the only thing I hate about it is the Portrait; just staring right straight ahead at me; kinda unnerving. >_<

Lovely work! You captured the looks of WoD ogron nicely and made it fit War3 style, looks like something Blizz-made!

Also, is that a tusked Frostfire gronn based on unused WoD art?

Thank you very much! With each model I try to get as close to the original WC3 style as possible to make sure the models blend well together in-game.
Who knows, might very well be a Tusked Frostfire Ridge Gronn

Truely impressive how warcraft-ish this model looks. One could never tell it was not part of the original game. Well done!

P.S: Still can't wait for the other stuff you've teased to come out. <3

Hello there once again Spas! You've been asking me for quite a while about the models I teased. I have a tendency to go back and tweak them here and there until I am truly satisfied and so it takes a bit more time.

This is probably the most Blizz-like custom texture I've ever seen. It literally looks like it belongs in the base game. Incredible!

Mesh and animations are great too - fantastic work!

Thank you very much! Figured the Doomguard with some bone and animation tweaks would be a great match for the Ogron.
Really pepping words to hear!

Although do consider adding more Portrait animations. While i know the animations are from the Doomguard, just think about what @Kyrbi0 said: Him staring right at you is kinda unnerving.[/QUOTE]

Alright, great feedback, I'll look into it.

Thank you all for the kind words! Models I think fit Warcraft 3 just as well as WoW are my primary projects. More will come

If Warcraft 3 had maps in the style of Gorgrond, Nagrand and Frostfire Ridge, then these guys would look like a great addition. But overall the model is good for its LQ version.

Briliant, looks good.
It's pretty neat how well this model visually fits into the Wc3 art style. Great job.
This looks like it was made by Blizzard directly while they were making the original game. Incredible work!

Many thanks to you all!

I do my best to try and make sure my models fit in well with the rest of the WC3 universe. Less is more sort of.

There are several beings in World of Warcraft that works just as well in WC3, indeed.
Beings like Flamewakers, Warp Stalkers, Colossi and Gronn are only a few of them. And that's why people like I am around :peasant-cheers-back:
