The model is a bit small

Update: I have lowered the emission rate after WILLTHEALMIGHTY's suggestion. Also removed two partial emitters, which showed to be unneeded.. Lowered the emitterrate to 800 now. Also Changed its look abit, course I was'nt satisfied with the aftersmoke, so I made it smaller and darker.

Give credit if used...

This is the best explosion I've ever seen, can somone please tell me how to make it bigger, it doesn't allow me to use custom units for the effect.

You go over 5000 particles with this... WTF?!

When you make an emmitter that with an emmission rate of 444 and make it run for a full 2 seconds, you're bound to get lag.

For god's sake, you have an emmitter with 1000 emmission rate that runs for a full 2 seconds!

You have to make the particles drop from 4900 to 500 or less, quickly.

Look, you reduced the particles by half. now it goes to 2500.

But if anyone plans on using more than one of these at a time, they'll have slight trouble.

If you want to see your particle count, go to "Edit-Properties" and check "debug information".

This is a "simple" and small FX, so particles shouldn't go very high. 2500 is ridiculous. 500 would be decent.

it seems the smoke is the problem, so you could always just make less, but bigger particles.
