Yeah but this has different variations, for example i needed the autocast version. I think people would appreciate having the option to use an upgrade or autocast variation for example. Just basing that off of the comments my other uploads have received.

Right, iv never reuploaded anything, and the one item i have uploaded that already existed in game had no disable variation making it totally useless. Your also the only person to ever complain about such a ridiculous thing. Thanks for your valued input thought.

It doesn't mean that you should reupload all Icons from Wc3 to add their additional variations.

Well no that would be a massive waste of my own timer, but since i had to make it because i needed it, i thought it would be helpful to others to post the resource. That is the point of this website isnt it? Resources for people to use so they dont have to create their own. Also the reason i said im happy to take requests to make life easier for others.

Realistically out of all the resources i have uploaded, i only needed 2 or 3 variations of each, but i create and upload all possible variations just in case other map makers need it. It doesnt do anything for me, it wastes a bit more of my time to hopefully help others. And considering every icon i have posted has 50+ downloads, i think its safe to say i am helping a lot of people.

I will ask Moderators what to do with Icons that already exist in game files.

i guess, but i meant that such uploads happened quite a couple of times in a small amount of time all together
so just uh dont do that

All variations of icons that match eachother in a way, should be in one icon not uploaded all over the section. So people can find them easier because right now people are having trouble finding certain icons.

Sorry for the confusion. The rules were recently updated in the Icon Section, and one that is relevant to this case is this one:

Unedited icons from a Blizzard Entertainment universe are allowed, but the author will be set solely as Blizzard Entertainment. Before uploading the icon, please check with the Blizzard Entertainment resources to see if it has already been uploaded. Icons accessible from the World Editor will not be approved.

The icon will just be sent as Substandard.
