Capitulation

~~~The sun strikes this barren land with such intensity that almost nothing can survive here. Use the last fountains in this region in order to avoid dying of thirst - or from your enemies. The demons here have captured all the natives - free them all. ~~~

This map is in the tileset Black Citadel, and is a 1v1, 2v2, or FFA map and balanced around all those. A 1v1 cross spawn may lead to a lot of expansions and creeping, but you can surprise your expanding enemy by charging into his weaker base with a large army.

A feature of this map is a Fountain of health just outside your base. This can mean you can creep heavily and quickly - but if you are attacked and retreat to your base your enemy will have the fountains to help heal. This leads to a lot of strategy in which direction to attack and whether to attack or not. There are not a lot of open areas on this map other than the gold mine areas. The central "Temple" has a lot of very good items which can be game changing due to their strength. Creep there carefully and quickly, or you may be flanked and lose a lot of your army.

This map has every shop in the game, with the Mercenary camp on the default Black Citadel creeps.

The red creep camps on this map are made to be extremely hard even for larger armies, while the rest of the camps are quite easily handled.

But maybe bro, you can fix the description by using VK's Map Description generator located at my signature. =D

Anyway here is a short review.

The terrain seems to be bland, the cruz thingy on the middle isn't really the best land mark in my opinion, this melee map needs a more stronger characteristic, in other words it needs more flare. Black Citadel have one of sexiest tileset on Warcraft 3 you need to take advantage of that. Also the overall terrain is flat and emtpy it needs more doodad and design to hit. Well strategically, there isn't really something that I can point out that stand out I suggest that you add a tavern in the middle to redeem the strategic part of the map. Also you might want to add some cliffs between the trees on the expansion goldmines the rear is vulnerable when the orc, human and undead lumber jacks cut down the trees which is a disadvantage against the night elves.

Anyway I'm rating this 2/5 but it can be approve.

Aww, man. I am not really in myself today. Yes, the terrain is flat... oh damn, good thing you said that.

I think everything is cool by now, except sonofjay's review about doodads/decorations, spicing the map with decor would be a blessing to melee players right now it looks splat and missing that detail that we love to see. But terrain didn't caught my attention but the middle part of the map, the creep levels are too damn high and creeping out that area can be a suicide on your army rank as well on tier time I'd rather go straight to my enemy's base than deal the middle, unless you can tone it down a little and give some treasure will your at it

in samples like a dragon roost, gold mine(depends if you change ground path),marketplace, or an item with rare abilities
