-Type -zoom (string) to zoom the camera. Recommended zoom between 2000-3000.

The credits for the resources used in this map are in the Information section of the game (Quests) labeled Credits.

General:

Select an area to build, raise an army, upgrade your weapons, and defeat your enemies. If you've ever played a village builder, city builder, or any of that sort; you may find this game similar. Builder of Armies is a game that takes building armies to a new level of army building; where you can systematically upgrade your units to their complete forms. Unlike other "Builder" maps, this map is soley combat oriented and involves no villagers and/or citizens.



Unit Types:
There are four unit types: Melee, Ranged, Mage, and Cavalier. All can be upgraded at the Armory and Magic Tower for Mages.
Melee- As the title says, are melee units with more damage/health than ranged units and can be Upgraded at the Blacksmith.
Ranged- Can shoot bow and arrows from a distance and can be upgraded at the Blacksmith.
Mage- Great backup casting unit, can cast spells that can be upgraded at the Magic Tower.
Cavalier- Most powerful and expensive melee unit. Has most health and base damage of all non-hero units, and upgrades can be found at the Blacksmith.



Upgrades:

Upgrades are available at the Blacksmith and Magic Tower

Melee-
-Weapons: Spiked Mace Clubs, Heavy Maces, Axes, Iron Swords, Steel Swords, Battle Hammers, Battle Axes, War Hammers, War Axes, Halberds, Long Swords, Steel Mauls, Broad Swords, Chaos Swords, Titan Blades.
-Shields: Wooden Buckler, Wooden Targe, Footman Shields, Captain Shields, Skull Bucklers, Mirror Shields, Sentinel Shields, Revenant Shields.
-Mail: Leather Mail, Scale Mail, Chain Mail, Dryad Mail, Bronze Mail, Iron Mail, Steel Mail, Dark Knight Mail.
-Helmets: Steel Caps, Pikeman Helms, Iron Helms, Bronze Helms, Footman Helms, Winged Helms, Horned Helms, Spiked Helms.

-Helmets: Iron Helmets, Bronze Helmets, Steel Helmets, Horned Helmets, Spiked Helmets.

Mage-
-Flame Shot: Shoots a flame, damaging a single unit.
-Tidal Strike: AOE ability, attacks several units at once.
-Static Strike: Very similar to chain lightning. Altered damage and number of bounces per upgrade level.
-Earth Shattering Strike: Slows all enemy units in a target area, but does no damage.

Heroes:
There are four hero types- Offensive Warlords, Defensive Warlords, Vassals and Archers.

Offensive Warlords: Offensive Warlords are efficient in offense, being the destructive force in battle.
-Abilities: Warlord's Might, Brutal Attack, Soldier's Momentum, Warlord's Wrath.

Defensive Warlords: Defensive warlord's are optimal in defense, being the main tank in battle.
-Abilities: Parry, Impairing Slam, Protective Presence, Uplifting Spirit.

Vassals: Vassals are the buffer heroes of the game, giving buffs to friendly units aiding your conquest.
-Abilities: Battle Cry, Terrifying Warcry, Soldier's Morale, Momentum.

Royal Archers: Ranged heroes, allowing to attack from a distance and aid friendly ranged units.
-Abilities: Piercing Shot, Take Aim, Ranger Enthusiasm, Hail of Arrows.

It's a funny map, and i like the new idea with upgrades and only a few units..
But i would prefer more different units which you can upgrade or combine the units under one structure.. the space isn't enough to have that much big buildings, it would also be better if the upgrades for archers are available with the upgrades of melee units within the same building, e.g. a blacksmith or else..

you used some buildings ok, but mainly they have like 2-4 units/upgrades whatever.. so there's a lot of unused space.. would like to have some basic units, some better ones and stuff, which you can upgrade, or focus on to make different kinds of strategies..
i would also like to have some more defense structures like walls or towers, that could be upgradeable, e.g. 2 archers within that shoot, 3 archers, 4 archer, better archers, and so on..

It's a nice and funny map, but also could need some improvements, like combining some buildings and adding defensive structures instead.. would be way better

Very well handled requests. I will add 2 extra unit types (Cavalry and Mages) to the map as well as defensive structures such as walls, gates perhaps, and maybe towers. Defensive structures will be upgradeable as well. There will be a weapon shop in place of the weapons being purchased at the armory/ranged structures and another worker type will be available to construct defensive structures.

I played this map on LAN with 2 other friends, I am the more skilled of us 3, So I got soldiers tad sooner then the others, I instantly sent them to every corner of the map to find them. When I found one, I rallied all soldiers and just attacked moved through his village killing it instantly with very little resistance.

From that I think defending could be quite hard if your tad slow, I would suggest to improve the towers, making them cheaper maybe, alot cheaper but adding a limit to them?

Great map overall though, I really liked the researches.

A victory popup appeared for me twice around 10 minutes in on two separate games despite no enemies having of died forcing me to exit the game and kicking everyone else. I was the host both times.

I am playing normally. Have an army ready to go, no one has died, nothing significant has occurred, and then all of a sudden the victory condition somehow flags and I win the game. The continue/end pop up appears and I'm forced to chose one and be kicked from the game.

This has occurred twice both being around the 10-15 minute mark, both times when I was host. I believe it happened the first time when I wasn't the host as well. I was given the "you have been disconnected" pop up- but at the time I thought it was just a random disconnect. This occurred around the 10-15 minute mark aswell.

We've checked through all conditions and triggers and I can say that I don't see the problem. We tested it out several times as well, and it doesn't occur with us. I'm going to double check one more time, but all conditions and triggers appear to working well. Perhaps you're playing alone?

Also, v1.2a will be released shortly so I'll check over it as much as possible before I release the new update.

Served its purpose but it was boring and with nothing great or special in it.

It was bug free as far as I saw, but the lag took some points here too.

Gameplay/Fun Factor: 6 points
It is fun to play, but it doesn't have much repeating value. Making it 12 players adds some fun.

Lag: 1 point
This was OMG. The loading time was immense and the ingame lag was unbearable. If you want this map to be played you must fix this.

Proper submission and crediting: 6 points

In overall: 36 / 80

In overall it is a fun map that has a lot of issues. I don't recommend this to anyone with a bit of a slow computer, it will lag you till you die, and then your computer will lag afterwards. The size is too big for the amount of 12 players. You must cut your map size, fix the loading and lag if you want this to ever get even for consideartion of playing online and approving here. I suggest:

- Terrain improvement
- Fix loading time
- Fix lag
- Fix proper submitting

For the hive grade: 1/5 I suggest this map for: Rejection

Don't let me discourage you, but you are on a long way to get this approved.

As for lag, the game has a lot of imports and I tried lowering the file size as much as possible.
I don't really see how I can lower it any further.
I must say I am a bit disappointed because I've spent long hours working on this map, but I thank you for your sincere review.
I will try to work with the map to make less lag but I can't promise anything.
As for terrain, that I can do.

Ok, great idea but the execution is a little extreme. Units going from 10 damage to 60 damage really wrecks the balance. I would seriously suggest reeling in the amount upgrades do by half. 50 armor from 0 armor is extreme. Siege weapons, towers, and walls immediately become useless. Archers do such massive damage that all you need is mages and archers to beat anytihng. Not even a lot of mages, maybe 4 to spam chain lightning and then you're good to go.

WoW, THE LANDSCAPE IS AMAZING. But... the land is so big... and no creeps or such things are on it...
A very cool point is the upgrade system, but i dont like that bigt buildings, they should be tinier. And the cam is to close ^^ .
Good job man, i hope you dont stop your work on it.
4/5 for having ultra much potential
