Assault

Assault

A fast-paced mini-game somewhat inspired by Hearthstone.

Gameplay
The gameplay is quite simple. First, you choose a race (4 currently, more to be added) and wait while your opponent chooses as well. Train units, cast abilities to aid you in battle and be sure to collect runes.
Runes summon neutral units with different abilities that can change the tide of battle.
Gold is gained every few seconds as well as mana.

Races
The 4 races have different units, but with same stats.
Melee units: 5 Health, 2 Attack
Ranged units: 2 Health, 3 Attack
But they have different abilities and different Heroes.
Human
Abilities: Heal, Dispel, Silence and Blizzard
Hero: Runemaster - Summons a random rune.

Orc
Abilities: Mend, Purge, Bloodlust, Chain Lightning
Hero: Far Seer - Summons 2 Wolves.

Scarlet Crusade
Abilities: Smite, Storm Bolt, Victory Charge, Holy Light
Hero: Paladin - Increases the attack of nearby units.

Undead
Abilities: Death Coil, Cripple, Raise Dead, Death Pact
Hero: Lich - Increases the armor of a single unit.

AI
There is AI support in this map. A minor one though. It uses abilities, collects runes and trains units. Currently, there is only Human AI. To activate AI mode write -ai.

Interesting concept. I like the simplicity. I think it would be a lot better if after you lose/win you can simply play again. Having to reload is a pain. It shouldn't be hard to trigger this and it looks like you have the skills. Without that the game is not much fun because it takes almost longer to load than it does to play. I would also do something about that, maybe add some defense to the base so if you get behind you can come back, as it stands now, once you are down a unit you cannot win.
