Hi guys this is my first map. I hope you like it and rate it. :):):)

Description:
In the land of Elwynn there is a forest said to be mysterious. It is the place where the orcs entered Azeroth. Dominate over this land and destroy all hostile forces.

Suggested Players:
2V2 or FFA

I'm deeply sorry if this is buggy or anything not nice. This is still my first map and i'm gonna make more maps. :(:(:(

The map is very lacking, but you can change that!
- make units drop items instead of having them lying around (
double-click on the unit you want to drop items in editor, a window will pop up; there, click on Items Dropped and select either Use Item Table from Map or just Use Custom Item Table; after that you click Edit Map Item Table, Add Item Table and New Set; now, you click on the Item Set, click New Item and select the item you want the unit to drop <you can also use the Random option which will make the unit drop a random item from a given category of items>) and for the love of God, make them something else than Tomes only!
- the map need more terrain variation - plain grass is boring in the long run and a stone rectangle path is also displeasing aesthetically
- change the terrain's height; a flat map looks very lazy
- maybe add some doodads like shrubs and flowers to make the map look nicer
- consider getting rid of the portals since their name gets in a way or make them untargetable so that the floating won't be an annoyance
- use the
ramp from Terrain Palette instead of the Stone Ramp Doodad - it would allow for much smoother movement of units (I attached a picture showing how tedious it is to move through the current ramp)

MORE TREES please (closer to the base and also covering the map bounds; the game looks much better when the tress are blocking you from the map's edge)
- consider adding a tavern or two somewhere, since neutral heroes are cool and this is a Frozen Throne map

Screenshots could attract more players to download your work. Make the best of them.

A credits list is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated.

A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.

To make your work run smoother, fix the so called leaks: Triggers - Memory Leaks and Custom Scripts

Hello there, I saw your map, It is interesting what you are trying to create.

I have a sugestion for your mapping skills, try to mix the tiles, rise and low the terrain to create a more complex enviroment that can be more atractive (the terrain all green can be monotone) (yellow mark).
I sugest you to download and study maps or read tutorials to improve your skills with the editor. It is nice to see that you are interested in mapping with WC3 editor. Study other maps and practice will improve yours skills. Have good luck and keep mapping.

Here's some feedback in form of edited screenshots; Also, I think you'll have to update your melee Frozen Throne files to the newest version, since many items in shops are missing, as well as some heroes in tavern, but I don't remember how to do that, however I'm sure someone will know. @deepstrasz , @Rufus or @Paillan maybe?

Good job on the changes, but there's still a lot to do.
1. The edges on the map still don't have trees and for me, it doesn't look too good.

2. Some items the creeps drop are incredibly weak (all the +1 stat items like Maul) and should be replaced with regular melee items (Claws of Attack, Gloves of Haste, Circlet of Nobility and so on)

3. Some creep camps still don't drop any items

4. You can't get to a gold mine in the middle or get a hero in tavern without having to fight two Granite Golems; try reducing their Acquisition Range from 500 <normal> to 200 <creep> (double click on the Golems in World Editor)

5. Some spaces are too tight and clunky due to too much doodads (the Gnoll Overseer camps)

2. Some creep camps are too near each other.
3. Mines where player start locations are have no guardians when players are absent.
+many other things already mentioned above my post.

This map is just too simple for the melee genre.
Please have a closer look at the original Warcraft III maps.

I recommend you to do a 1vs1 map, is more easy, doing a 4 player melee map in 96x96 it can be hard because you have not that much space.
Many melee mappers do 1vs1 maps and after gaining experience in many maps they go for a 4 player melee maps.
download / study others maps, read tutorials, practice. To make a good map first, you have to learn how to make a good map, is like maths, nobody started knowing everything.
