(2)The Expedition v.0.98 Eng

Hi! I'm Aspect and i would like to share my finest map with you to know your opinion about it.
Firstly, I'd like to point out a few things:

- I'm a complete self-lerner when it comes to WE and I'm not that good with triggers etc.
- I did this one just for fun and as a way to be creative, it wasn't meant to be highly polished.
- English is my second language, so you will probably encounter some errors.
- The map uses some custom made models which I did not create. They belong to their respective owners.

If you'll give it a go, you'll need a friend because it's a 2 player co-op campaign-like mission in a custom setting, pretty similiar to Warcraft. I'm open to criticism, but mostly i just wanted to hope that at least two people will have a little bit of fun using my weeks of work (fun) making this one. :)

I'm riskily approving this. A nice loading screen would do instead of a melee map type picture. Would be nice to have some cinematic scenes (intro, mid, end etc.) Why the fog of war? Is it intended? Abolish magic is pretty much the same. Why change...

Hello! I haven't got to play your map yet, but I see there are a few issues in the triggers (like you guessed.) I'm not going to tell you that they need fixed (because I assume everything works just fine) but for your future endeavors, I'll direct you to a link that helped me
Some variables can leak when you use triggers. Try this link to help you out :)

Also, I noticed that you are using 3 different triggers for the ability levels. Try something like this. If you can make just one trigger, you should. Hopefully I helped a bit!

Now, beyond the triggers. I think the terrain looks very nice. I haven't got to play the map yet, as I said :( I'll give it a go as soon as I have someone willing to play. Also, make sure to give credit to the people who's models you used. It isn't quite sufficient to just say that you borrowed them :p I dunno if this is a rule or not, but it's nice to give credit where it's due.
I'll give this a rating after I get to playing it.

EDIT: Removed my excessive use of emotes (as I always have)

I cannot see this map in the custom game section. I am running the latest patch. Is it saved with run as administrator or something?

EDIT: no. It was because of the file's name being too long.

I'll have to test this in multiplayer.

Abolish magic is pretty much the same. Why change its icon? I guess, to fit the elven theme.
The Spearman that ran towards his boss did not reach him (because of his allies on the ramp).
Aren't the enemy supposed to send troops?
Maximum level (10) can be reached relatively fast. More hero advancements would make the RPG element more viable.
Avoid playing music through the sound channel and use the music channel instead.
The camera should not lock on Sandros as enemy catapults may follow the heroes to him.
Would be nice to have the names of heroes in another colour than white when they are saying something as you've used text message instead of transmissions. It's hard to differentiate them from warnings and other messages.
The eagle boss freezes after his spell animation plays when meeting him. I suggest adding a stand animation after that spell animation.
Ending the eagle quest killing their boss kills the requirement of killing all the cultists.
Abrupt victory after a few seconds with no end scene.

I'll still have to test/play this in two players though.

Screenshots could attract more players to download your work.

A credits list is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated.

Id strongly recommend adding a resurrection stone like in Rexxars campaign, my friend and i got killed half way through and it just totally lost the game and we really don't wanna replay the entire beginning to get back to where we were, we were having alot of fun
