(If you do not want to change the position of the tiles of your landscape)

First you need to find out the texture paths that you used in your map.
This will require an advanced editor -
JNGP.
1. Open your map in -
JNGP.
2. Open -
"Extensions" > "Edit Tilesets" > Write paths to tiles from the block - "Selected Tiles".
3. Open your map in the editor you use
(1.30+).
4. Select the required tilesets from the pack
(max - 16).
5. Select the necessary cliffs from the pack, if they are needed
(max - 2, make sure that you have 2. tilesets corresponding to the selected cliffs).
6. Import textures into the map.
7. Set the appropriate texture paths in the import editor, for example,
if the tile at number 5 refers to the area -
"Village" and is called - "Stone Path", then the path will be as follows - "TerrainArt\Village\Village_StonePath.blp".

(If you want to do landscape from the beginning)

1. Select the required tilesets (max - 16).
2. Select the necessary cliffs, if you need them
(max - 2, make sure that you have 2 tilesets corresponding to the selected cliffs).
3. Import textures into the map.
4. Open
"Advanced" > "Change landscape type" > Check the box "Custom landscape type" > Add any tiles
(It is advisable not to use tiles on which you cannot build)
(It is worth writing down the name of the tiles and the area to which they belong in order to prescribe the appropriate paths, for example - Ashenvale, Dirt or Dalaran, Grass)
(It is important to consider the order of the tiles, since the next one takes precedence over the previous one.
For example, your pavement with a border is number 3, and grass with smooth borders is number 7, in this case, the grass will block the pavement with its borders and the pavement border will not be visible).
5. Set the appropriate texture paths in the import editor, for example,
if the tile at number 5 refers to the area -
"Village" and is called - "Stone Path", then the path will be as follows - "TerrainArt\Village\Village_StonePath.blp".

They all look amazing! Well done! :plol:

I've already seen this posted in XGM since 4 months ago (or probably that's different, I can't confirm). I suspect some of the resources here came from different maps - as you admitted it in XGM (I can recognize the few) - or ripped from WoW as you mentioned in the description here.

I doubt this pack will be approved here - read the rules, but if you still feel like uploading these, you can upload it part by part (part1.rar, part2.rar) by splitting the archive using WinRAR. You should rather upload this pack as an attachment in the forums instead (preferably in the Terrain Board) but not here.

I'm not judging this upload (In fact I am liking these), it's very useful for terraining.

Textures available on XGM - Type-B.
These are Type-C. ~ 85% of these textures are exclusively from the package - WOW textures pak -1605. The rest is ~ 15% of HOTS.

I divide them into 3 classes of realism:
Type-
A: High - photorealistic, real photos.
Type-
B: Medium - similar to WC3 style.
Type-
C: Low - very pleasing to the eyes, but a little cartoony, between the style of WC3 and WOW.

However, it would seem you only uploaded a black blp file. Please submit all respective textures for moderation.

This is the best terrain I've found here on Hive. Thanks for posting your resource pack.

I made a new version of 003a/b which better matches the green hue of 004a. In my map's thread there are some screenshots of the new terrain tile at the bottom of page 6.

Let me know if you want me to send a link to add to this awesome pack.

can someone tell me how to import this custom tilesets ?
You upload the tile that you want and then replace its path with whatever tile you want it to replace.

A very cool addition and very useful for mapmakers, this is exactly what the ported section is for! Taking textures from HotS and WoW and converting them so they fit perfectly with the Warcraft 3 tilesets is great and opens up a lot more variation for mapmakers.

The only issue is some appear to be just black squares, so if those could be fixed with their proper texture that would be great!

EDIT: I see those black textures are used to separate each group of different colours of the same tile, perhaps these names could instead be a description of the texture group like "grass" or "dirt" or "dry dirt" etc and then the colour in the filename of each for example 001Green, 014Red etc.

I'm going to approve it in the meantime.
