Hey, one tip for you based on what you said in the psychology thread.
I've noticed that the things I find trouble focusing on are the things that take mental effort. Your motivation IS a resource too, so learning how to use less of it for any specific task is useful.

I'll reply to you here, since I can understand it's inconvenient to question the contest's terms in the contest thread itself.

But two things: I speak that as a judge of many previous contests. The fact they're lazy is their problem. And, it would be frustrating to be out of the in-depth review of the judges after all the work of putting up an entry.

Hey Kirby, maybe you already did that, but if not i suggest you message the participants of last modeling and texturing contests, to attract more artists for the current paired hero contest.

I understand, I too am unsure will I ever again be able to join and finish these Contests myself. Instead this time I decided to at least be part of the contest in some way by making reviews of each race. You know how it is like to work that long on a project and then not get any word be it critic or praise for the finished job except from fellow competitors and even they don't always comment. Polls well I don't hide how I feel about them, can't the vote/post mechanic from map section be implemented here too?
And of course in the end comes judging that tells you how good or bad your race is but I always felt they weren't really informative. (Also once I was criticized for giving my race the upgrade that lets units carry items even though every melee race has it -.-)
So anyway since I know that you of all people wouldn't vote and not post, I wanted to see if there was any chance of you too sharing your thoughts about races. Not indepth reviews of course just opinions. Though it wouldn't hurt to ask guy who puts more thought in contests than anyone else on this site.

Second Part

Sorry Kyrbi0. I blame Kuirboh! And general indecisiveness of English language regarding difference between reading and writing. Like is Y in your name "ee" (Cheese*) or "oo" (Book*) or "y" (yogurt*). It is much easier when one letter has one sound and the end not have different language for speaking and different languages for reading. Because English uses several other language rules like French, Spanish and Latin but not English rules for spelling. Ups I digressed ^^;

Obviously the 12 unit rule would be only for full contest. Think 7 would be nice one for minicontest? Besides I love the irony.

I'm thinking about Jungle Troll Main building, Tier 1 wold be a ruined Troll building with some new wooden elements, and Tiers 2&3 would have more new, also wooden, fortifications
