  • Just same old guy who come pass by, seem like FFA ladder-pool is too late to be update now, gotta wait for another season :sad: anyway after saw a glimpse of what they will do. it surely will be fun. I was had taken over 4v4 mappool and now it seem to happen on FFA too someway somehow. I don't understand why either. Anyway anything relate to 4v4 that you want to get it to the competitive mappool level. Feel free to contact me on my discord or dm me here. I can just convince and take it seriously look at it for possibility update if the map isn't too much broken/non_competitive. :goblin_yeah:
    welp just come pass by, seem like FFA mappool hasn't been set yet even though the new season(w3champion) is already start. Their plan is just crazy. All map already got an update that I was saying before. Also I heard that there is some crazy-like-guy who kept talking about OrgeMound LV. the joke is getting further and further away. :eekani: If I'm not too lazy to fix treeline on that map then yea sure, cya on next season ATR mode. But it's a joke right..? Right!? :eek:2

    About the new map tournament, there are some interest news. Seem like there will be 3 event run at the same time :eekani:. Be prepare! One estimate end time is March, one is April, and another one is unknown atm. The first start around 20 Feb, the second one date is around mid March. And last is around mid March from what they has last announced though.

    leak of some other 4v4 Blizzard map rework is incoming also. I won't say it yet of which one will it be this time, but you won't expect it for sure. Seem like I have to postponed my rest away again. :sad:

    RR and WM still need to wait till w3c enter ss18 for the update version original file. My newest map was played last night on B2Warcraft FFA twitch check out _HotEspressio! To be continue on will it get continue into FFA mappool. For ATR mappool the change were _CircumventionLV and _CandlestickGallery +2 more from other. 3v3 seem like it's a failure push, we won't any change on it. There are some change in 1v1 mappool, but it's not about me so you will see it by yourself when the time has come. Nothing on 2v2. For 4v4 seem like there will be a big revolution on how things goes in the future. I don't know either of how much it will change. I might have a list but doesn't seem like it will be important anymore due to the revolution surprise from w3c staff team. :nw:

    Just come pass by, nothing special to tell. Maybe some new? There will be an update of RockyRidge & WinterlyMagic (after mid March). One is just a small change, another was almost an overhaul reposition things and gameplay flow due to how bad it was on w3champions this season. Also seem like I step in too deep into the map pool rotate, I got involve again till pass March :goblin_wtf:. This time there will be 2-3 change on 4v4, 1 on 3v3 and 1 on FFA(ffa community request). Maybe 1 on ATR not sure yet of how or when do my partner gonna finish the environment part. There will be two interesting event this year's summer. Hive league tournament which prob wait for Nightmare to announce the started someday... And 1v1 meme map tournament, Knecht is still looking for map if you has one. Just contact him on his discord, available till 29/02/2024.
    I would like to announce that I will stop from active mapping and other stuff after this w3champion season end till later. I feel burnout after lot of stuff happen to my life lately. I was planning of this for quite a while now. but hasn't decide on it yet till last night physical accident, everything fall down all together. Maybe it a sign that I should finally step away... Thank everyone in the community for the last 3 years. Sorry, but I doesn't feel like a break this time. :plol: (You would have still me released map from time to time, but not as much as before.).

    I did update some of the outdate 4v4 map that was use on w3chapion 4v4 pool before. I hope I didn't missed any map. (not count chimney isles)
    I did a map bundle in case someone looking for some map and feel dizzy after saw my resource. I divide it into 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 9+. I don't think that 5v5 or 12 players map is any normal case. Hope it work. (For FFA I think every 2v2+ could all work in most of the scenario. There is only some of them that was made specifically for it)
    I was trying to push for an isles ship map and old bliz map on the next w3c season that will happen around 23rd July! Hope there is a place for everyone and every w3 community. My next new map likely appear to be a 1v1 map for the Hive-Contest-#9, after there would be a very special 8 players+ map :wink: the one I was announce earlier.

    Maybe there will be a place for it in the future 4v4 ladder? And I don't think that I can really post it here since it was a the same name, same map. Even if it a whole rework but it was still similar layout unlike my GlideerBay(BootyBay) which completely add a new side,isles and new name. Feel free to look at the progress. Maybe you can catch it on Epicwar instead. I'm half dead this map has so many flaw to fix. But I promise that I will try to keep original as much as possible.

    no I don't that's what I was talking about earlier. Downgrade the map is also another way to do it. which I believe that someone has mention about it in (8)silverowl.

    I have several request before about downgrade the map for other who is not using Reforged. I will announce it here and clear :
    Feel free to do it. You can do it without the request even edit some of the creep if they are lost. But keep this in mind. I don't allow you to be a co-map creator unless it was about custom map for alter-melee or anything else that required trigger/custom model.
    Hey! Why some of your maps aren't playable on 1.26? I definetely mean some, not all of them. Can you fix it anyhow, please?

    cause I have been move to Reforged (recent patch) that's the reason the map from now probably won't be able to play on 1.26 (start from Inquity Trail) but most of the map that has an old data of 1.26 I wont delete it either.

    Please use the yellow Edit button at the bottom of your posts and add text there instead of writing one post after another of yours unless it's an important update.
    I did a lot of update on Chimney Isles, Mount Hyjal, Indigo Keep, Ordeal Ground and Vanguard Point these day was because the upcoming of W3Champion season 13 feel free to guess of what gonna happen :goblin_yeah:
    I did drop a 12 players map as I was talking about, now I will continue the long vacation good luck everybody!
    (I myself prefer a cp version of Chimney Isles because the dragon roost is a bit ewww, drake roost is way more balance and way more free to play more around it)
    I probably gonna have a long vacation this time lol. I didn't burnout from mapping but I just lacking good and creation layout right now.     I found a map called "(8) grain of sand" on a Warcraft map website in Russia. Is it your works? There seems to be no neutral monster unit in it.

    I think the terrain is very good. It's better than some maps approved by you in "hiveworkshop". After modifying the starting position of players and adding some neutral units, it's perfectly released.
    "I may think about this contest again". Download the UTM 4.0 from the main page of the contest thread. Take a look to all the doodad diversity, try to pile them, like put a tower between some rocks over a small hill, and wala thats the soul of a terraining contest, like play with lego bricks with doodads. is very fun, a lot of freedom, very easy to starters, but hard to master. But also is easy to make progress. is just creativity, set the camara and a bit of composition of work nearground, middle ground, back ground and sky. good luck!!

    but did you saw the content of utm? it has hd trees, rocks, hd water, it has fog and clouds doodads to build a sky, lot of doodads to build castles, it has ligth particles to give more light to certain areas. I mean without the utm is like play a car race with a horse. you are free to play without using the utm but thats a great disadvantage against those who are using it. good luck

    Right now, I'm looking forward to improve and showed good felwood tile set(which will work on minimap.) Any normal tile set will be a later... can't say that I will make it though unless I wanna try some mechanic like I was try in 'Ramp Off' before.

    Yeah, this is a issue Blizzard should address, minimaps not looking bad for melee. Some tilesets can just obscure some player colours like icecrown/northrend blue ones and outland/black citadel red ones.

    It's complicated to address the issue.
    If they could make a sort of integrated feature to calculate the tileset colour for 1v1 so that player colours would change depending on the tile colours...

    let say that right now I stuck at dungeon tile set, I thought I found a good combination though. but still very dark in game which I'm not sure how to fixed this problem yet. also the layout which make the minimap work same as gameplay.
