  • Well sure 10 minutes you need for most of the GUI spells. But those vJass spells need some more time. Since first you need to understand every function try to think of better solutions etc... well maybe I should at least reject some bad spells...

    It's an excuse at least in my case. I got a new job but didn't moved yet to Berlin (where my work is) so Im over 8 hours at work + 2 hours the way I need till Im at work + 2 hours back till Im again home = 12 hours (+ since Im not a bot I need sleep + food + some time to relax)... After I moved to Berlin, what should be soon, I'll have again time to moderate...
    ^Meh i kind have given up trying to change anything in the spell section....

    people always say there should be change and so on but noone cares.

    Anyway i am gonna assist you as far as i can, hoping that you will achieve more than the others before you ;)

    this are ones which are missing, maybe i missed some natives as well but this are as far as i remember new ones...
    Imminence is really nice ! Works nearly perfectly, but the extra damage is dealt about a half second after the arrow hit the target. The Apostate ability is somehow not working, or i just did not notice the slow effect. It just spams some DebugMsgs. And what is Photonology ? Triggers were disabled and i couldn´t save and enable the map because something screws up in DD´s libraries (Somwhere a globals block was nested in a struct).
    The imminace is one of my faves now, cause of the cool idea ^^

    May you could invite the spell mods or the admins to that forum, i think they have to do something against the messy spell section.
    yea cus ur a big fan of spells, personally i find systems easier to work with without using structs, though i do use libraries to organize my shit ^^ is that good enough? ^^
    man vJass seems so... i dont know i hate the structs shit man, but good for spells especially, i personally hate using them for other shit, maybe b/c imoldschool so im used to seeing oldish JASS custom script gui tags when i started wc mapping? haha :p atleast in my time... but i stopped after a while and shit, tried real life :S

    just st the vertex coloring for all to zero and for the owner to the matching value

    im using GetLocalPlayer() in my upcoming project too and its quite simple
    (you can set the floating damage text that you see all / your own / nothing ect..)


    Moving out is doing quite well
    i was 4 days there now and we worked arround 16-18 hours per day ._.
    now im dead
    but the bathroom is done, the kitchen is done, and our bedroom in quite far
    living room and corridor is left.. well do them later when we got some time

    i see that engine was supposed to work but hmm i made a mistake like that coz i always thought of ranged attacker or even melee would attack from little range so yeah using SetUnitX/Y would ignore collision and yeah i guess it would bug like you said, so ty for that report.

    The Rangers enhances her Bow and increases her Agility. With her increased craft she also deals more damage if the target is far away.
    [1/5] - +3 Agility, deals up to 20 bonus damage depending on the distance
    [2/5] - +6 Agility, deals up to 30 bonus damage depending on the distance
    [3/5] - +9 Agility, deals up to 40 bonus damage depending on the distance
    [4/5] - +12 Agility, deals up to 50 bonus damage depending on the distance

    i dont know which version you got due i worked on it
    currently the Ranger has two spells
    one is quite similar ^.^

    Sylvana takes 2 seconds aim of her target and shoots a great arrow to it dealing a random bonus damage. This shot will hit her target that precise that it has a greatly increased chance to hit it critically. Drains 40 mana eacht attack.
    [1/5] - 20 to 40 bonus damage, +20% chance to hit the target critically
    [2/5] - 30 to 60 bonus damage, +27.5% chance to hit the target critically
    [3/5] - 40 to 80 bonus damage, +35% chance to hit the target critically
    [4/5] - 50 to 100 bonus damage, +42.5% chance to hit the target critically
    [5/5] - 60 to 120 bonus damage, +50% chance to hit the target critically

    i hate to create terrain because its so much opinion based
    Thats why i made all systems and quite many spells in my map before i started terrain ^^ got nearly all systems now and some new spells (compared to the one you got) and i finally started to create terrain

    So why dont you just create a map? i mean.. Dota Terrain isnt the best and i think the gameplay is more important (without that attitute i would have never created a map x) )

    Basically a "Puppeteer's Hold" from Heroes of Newerth.
    Incase you have not played it, it summons a puppet thingy that binds a target unit, slowing MS by 40% and restricting movement, if it moves out of range, it is pulled back.
