    Which royally pisses me off, worse is that the community has more love for it than the people that is at irvine at atm, even at other games who they treat as "fanart" like the diablo and even the unfinished azeroth mod at Skyrim and Skyrim SE nexus pages.

    EA even let the wing commander community keep a backup of the franchise source codes, and let the community reverse engineer the windows ports so it can run on modern machines without speed issues, also you have OpenRA which is now supporting Dark Reign 1, and they don't mind the free releases of the old games. MS with Age games, forgotten was a mod who became a polished expansion.

    And im not even talking about id software or 3drealms with their games, i even released a upscale update pack for Q2 monsters and weapons at moddb some time ago.

    Also, i wouldn't mind if Hive decides to give them the bird and make their own OpenWar3 out of it as a "Source Port" like Diablo 1 and maybe soon OpenDiablo2, which exists and its being developed since Resurrected is sound more like Refundead.
