Hm, yes, why not. It encourages the players to search for the key and the chamber. if they know what they get, then they are going for it faster, I would say.

1. No pathing blockers, no regions, you surely avoid a lot of high numbers! I cannot think of another solution, maybe start a thread concerning this topic
2. Hm, could be a good idea, maybe an unique item or randomized content, like either a treasure, a monster challenge or a quest/character

1. Ah, I don't know, but when the cam follows the villager it does not work, so maybe add another kind of system, like when the villager enters a certain region then pan the camera in a way it looks good.
3. Hm... Well, 'Oh hey, I finally, after hours, found the secret chamber, let's open it.... Oh no, a monster!'. You could also add both, so it can be randomized every game.
4. Even if you know what's balance and what not, I think it is difficult for everyone to balance from the very beginning. But as you said, I guess you don't have much problems concerning this.

Ahaha, I was scared enough by the Minotaur himself, cannot imagine it with sounds. I might try it next time with sounds tho, if they are that great.

1- The cam is really impossible to fix. If I change the angle and set it to standard view, the terrifying effect of the minotaur suddenly appearing in front of you decreases tremendously
2- Yes, there are (around 8). If I'll add more, they could be maximum 5
3- No story, no idea, just zero
4- Simple additional skills but hey, maybe adding classes that give you different skills will create variation. Very good idea!
5- Additional quests? Can't think of any. Change the Labyrinth? How can I do that?
6- You have to play with the minotaur to see the pinging map, not with the villager!

1. Hm, I am not experienced with cams, but maybe create a full custom cam following the floor somehow and not the villager directly ( if it is possible)

4. Tho, I myself am not sure whether it would be a good idea. Yes, variety, but also imbalance. You would have to be super careful to not overpower one class.
5. Hm, I thought of quests that slightly influence the Minotaur and give him some advantages, like a minion or invisible sentries and such. Could spice up the Minotaur's gameplay a lot.
6. Ah, maybe being the monster isn't as scary as being hunted by it..

1- Implement keyboard movements (tough task)
2- Add more characters in the labyrinth (because you hardly find one)
3- Give a utility to the secret chamber. Do you even know there is one? Currently, it's useless. If you find the key (which is very difficult to find) and open the gate, you would've done all that in vain :/
4- Add some skills to the villager. It's just too boring to have Adrenalin and some humble generic commands only, don't you agree?
5- Make the game more exciting when playing the Minotaur. Currently I just get very bored with him (you know you can play him by setting yourself to player 11 right?)
6- Fix the map ping issue (that's for minotaur playing only) because it doesn't seem to ping right. Sometimes it pings for dead villagers I recall


Ahh, luckily I always play with sounds muted but I will once play it unmuted to get scared in your game...

Noticed... it disappeared mysteriously from the pending maps section and... "ta da", the user had requested the map to be set to needs fix for some crash problem. Shame, it looked epic.

But i promise i will return it to map section onc i fixed it, the problem is no one likes to be a beta tester of the map. The map thread was just dumped in the map development section so i decided to upload it directly to maps section.

I already fixed the crash, but i will make sure that it will not happen again once you (or other moderators) review it.

While there are many modellers, 2D artists etc who have been here for many years and are still active, most active map makers are new or not too long working with the editor. I guess mapping gets pretty boring sooner.

I used to set the unit height above ground to -1, which makes them at the highest point in the game. When they are attacked it creates a lighting effect across the whole map

Yeah you got pro m8. I am da best in english in my class, and I always get 85-100 from science lessons. I never, ever prepared myself to an exam. I always just do --->some<--- of my homeworks and play games. Thug life But I generally end up being not that bad, I'm certainly not very good, but surprisingly for a guy like me who doesnt do anything at home I get pretty good points.
