The problem is that there is a great difference. Many people don't have Reforged for very obvious reasons, so they should not be disadvantaged due to those reasons.
Imagine you host a painting competition where you allow for both oil and pastel, where only a select few has access to oil. That would be quite unfair.
The point of the contest is not to enable people to "perfectly reflect their inner selves". They can do that with non-competitive scenic terrains. The point of the contest is to give everyone an equal chance at victory by making everyone operate within the same framework.
