I mean, I could potentially make a trigger that verifies the interceptors entering the playable map and add +1 to an integer then index unit (that integer array) but how will that work within loops concerning both the interceptors and the carrier?

If I use the new interceptor index I mentioned above in all the loops as the last integer in the loop action (from 1 to interceptor index), will that not create problems related to the number of carriers which would be 2 if there are 16 interceptors on the map?

Or you're saying that I can use the group the interceptors are in as conditions within a loop and then use triggering unit to do the action, but will that include all interceptors in a group individually? I mean, will that triggering unit become the next unit in the loop as the unit would have an array?

But then how will I verify the number of the carriers, without an integer with an array but conditioning the number in their group array?

Alright, I solved the indexing part. Now, to see if the loops pertaining the scarabs work like I mentioned above just by conditioning the units in their group.

Hey, it seems to work, just with unit is in group and triggering unit!

Actually, no, I mean, I can't choose which scarabs to be moved every 0.1s because they are not variables and I can't set them to variables because of the variable array with array overwrite issue. Unless, I create the scarabs in the same trigger/loop.

Ehhh, if you need each indiviual interceptor to do somethig specifically then the dynamic indexing won't be so efficient, SPECIALLY if you want large numbers of units...Hashtables can do this easily though, but it's not something I use often. Now it's a pain in the ass you told me that now :(

Well, I kind of tried telling you from the start :D

Hash tables seem crazy. Anyways, thanks, don't be sad. It's OK. I'll figure out something by experimenting more.
