    It's still a project of mine, but development has been slow. It's a solo project, so it is completely dependent on how much time I have available to me at any given time. I am also toying with the idea of doing a reforged version of it using reforged's new high elf models, while still giving it a classic release as well. I have about half of it done, up to the point of the defense of Nethergarde keep. I have been working on the Nethergarde mission, but I don't have the time I used to. I want to finish it very much though, as I hate to leave things unfinished. I'm happy to see an active interest in Windrunner, and I hope I can get a finished version done here in the near future! Thank you for continuing to look into the project, it's people like you that keep me going on the project! :)

    So an update on this. I got super busy with life 5 years ago when I was initially working on Windrunner. I didn't have time to work on such a demanding project anymore, and the announcement and release of reforged further complicated things and hurt my motivation. I still have the files and all of my old work, but I don't think any of it is very quality or great compared with what some people make on this site. I was an amateur who bit off more than I could chew I think, but I often still wish I could have finished it. As I mentioned I do still have the files and they're updated to use reforged graphics if you still want to try it, it's moreso just a personal thing to mess with nowadays. If you would like to try it, I'd be happy to provide them to you to get your opinion as I have recently been thinking of possibly trying to rework what I had going in 2018.

    Don't worry, I still plan on finishing Windrunner :)

    It is just hard to find the time to work on such a large project all the time, and I have been faced with some life events that stalled progress on it. I have The campaign finished all the way through the defense of Nethergarde keep (Mission 6). So far, I have 6 missions, 3 major cinematic interludes, a fully fleshed-out and finished high elf race with custom models and sounds, and custom music and interface. The campaign will be finished with 10 playable missions, and 4 cinematic interludes (The last will be the ending), and is based directly on the book lore and Warcraft 2 itself. I think the end result will be great, but I have been seeking a terrain builder to help me develop. Luckily, I just found one, so production should resume :)

    I love Linkin Park too! I listen to their stuff all the time. My birthday is coming up so I think I'm going to get myself one of their underground albums that I don't have already.
    I loved their singles on the radio (my favorite was Breaking the Habit) but I didn't really start actively listening to LP until around the time that Transformers 2 came out. I looked up New Divide on the internet and found out that I could listen to music on Youtube (I hardly used Youtube beforehand). From then on, I've listened to LP religiously. Love their stuff.

    Their underground stuff is fantastic, I'd rank LPU X or Underground 9 as my favorite. I actually did the same thing you did, liked their songs on the radio for years but didn't actually start listening to them a lot until around the release of Transformers 2 thanks to New Divide. Very nice to meet a fellow LP and WC3 fan!

    Underground XIII is my favorite but Underground X comes in a close second. I love Unfortunate, What We Don't Know, and I Have Not Begun. Very nice to meet you too!
