Wow guess I should check the guide for spelling mistakes^^. I'll check the context in a minute.

So for your first point, if you make a second hero in your altar in your base, it a) takes time build him and b) he has to walk across all over the map. Compared to hiring your second hero from a tavern, this lost time most likely means the t2 buildings of the enemy will be completed by the time the hero reaches the opponents base (assuming both players are teching about equally fast). I think this comment is most relevant for ne vs orc or mirror matches.

Afaik most orc players only make 2-3 grunts, sometimes 4. While this means you can sometimes surround the enemy hero, it isnt a realistic option if the enemy doesnt make a mistake, as with 4 units your surround has to be pretty much perfect. Humans however often have 4+ footies, 1 we, am and could even call militia. With so many units, surrounding is much easier.
Afaik you can make a perfect sourrund with 4 units of any size in open field. The size of the units doesnt matter for this.

Well, if you also have two spirit wolves? True, humans could surround near their bases.

Yeah, I guess it depends on the hero's circle size, not the units surrounding the hero.

True, with FS it is way easier. When I wrote that part, it was still at a time when you could rely on orcs going blademaster in 99% of games.

Sadly, I think there might be heroes with larger pathing/selection scale/circle which is problematic for balance because some of them don't have fast movement speed.

I checked in the editor and all heroes have the same collision size. Movement speed varies indeed. Of course, faster is better, but imho wc3 is sufficiently balanced despite this (though maybe the recent patch may have changed things for worse). Do you have any specific concerns?

That means selection circle size doesn't matter if the collision size is the same?
