  • Currently trying to figure out how to stop players from reviving their hero. In the meantime, balancing damage, hp and adding more stuff(buildings, chars, etc)
    Adding different Builders and trying to come up with new ideas for what builders I can have in the map.

    I suggest writing it down on paper first. It helps with the planning phase of game design.
    Think of themes you want, like "glass cannon" or "tanky as balls with low damage" for structures and ability types, then go from there.

    Yeah I am using notepad for that. I have early game, late game, if you have any suggestions feel free to suggest. I am in constant battle with triggers at the moment.
    Making a sort of Survival map. Contains walls/barricades, towers, two teams.

    I remember when I first got into that. It started with learning how to trigger things, then continued into learning programming languages.

    Once you get sequencing down with "while" loops, "if" statements, sorting and boolean logic, it all starts to become easy. From there, it's just looking up syntax.

    About your sheep thing with mana, I have done something similar but with awarding experience to a hero.

    Awesome, have always enjoyed making maps or just "fucking around" in the WC3 editor ever since I was a kid. :) Yeah hopefully it'll become easy as time progresses.
    Making maps of different kinds, hoping to learn more and create something people will enjoy playing.
