As a general rule, what DSG says regarding hardware and software from the mid-2000s onwards, is correct. But when it comes to Windows XP, the views he expresses are imho kinda biased and/or lacking. He is not using XP daily, but he very probably can run it in a VM. For some reason, he does not express such views about Windows Vista.
iirc, he said that he first played WC3 on XP when he was a young teen. Being currently in his 20s, it is therefore very possible that he did not experience both the hardware and software of the 90s (and before), the way I myself did. Oh the joys of running MS-DOS 3.2 and GEM/3 on an Amstrad PC 1512 with 512 KB of RAM and a 10MB HDD, on a b&w monitor.
;D
PS sorry for late reply xd
