  • Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like it! I'll try to improve it again somehow but by now I'm on others projects :)
Hi! As I said the other day, I wanted to test your map again today but it seems you haven't make the changes yet. Am I right (just to know)? Or is there a link to an updated version somewhere I would have missed? :)

Anyway, I played it again no matter what and I noticed two more things you should fix:
    -The description for the invocation of a treant with the Dryad keeper of the groove is kinda weird, plus, the spell has four levels while the hero at the level max only has 10 points to spend (so, there's one skill that can't be raised at its highest level);
-The big treant itself (if you choose to keep this model) still needs about 55 seconds to summon, if you don't give it an order. If you do give him an order, it instantly summons in its final form. So, as this is a *very* powerful spell anyway, maybe you should let it as it is, but change the description so that the user nows it takes some time to cast the unit. And then, obviously, you should prevent the unit from receiving orders (and maybe taking damage) as longs as it is not in its final form.

Well, sorry for giving you more work, ahaha! I just fought I had to let you know.
Also, while I'm here, could you please test Leafshade, tell me what you think about it, and maybe review the map? Thanks a lot!

And don't forget to tell me about yours! I'd like to test the updated version!
    See you!
Hi! I can't test your map again until Thursday in the evening/ Friday because of my exams but the screenshot you sent me looks brilliant! :)))
    Hi!

Well, I think one of those 3 golem/treant models could work:

Unfortunately, I don't think I know the tiger model you're talking about.

I'm not a model creator (I don't have this skill yet!) so I can't really give you what you need, sadly. However, I know of a few Worm models that would be really suited in desertic areas:

Concerning a hero that would suit the map, I think this Earth Lich would be fantastic:

Hope this will be useful to you! See you soon! :-)
Oh! And if you plan to make the map bigger, make sure to give the starting goldmines more gold, at least *-*
Great! I'll check it this weekend then!
About the things you could add, ung, I'm not the most experienced map-maker ever but I can still talk about personal preferences.
To me, I don't like it so much when trees are exactly rows or when together they make perfect geometrical forms you know because in Nature it's never like that (obviously, Warcraft is a game, but you see my point ^^). It's just aesthetic. And maybe others players would argue things need to be symetrical (which I agree but perfectly symetrical is boring to me).
Then, maybe you could add a few creep camps with new combinaisons of units. The actual ones seem a bit weak to me, except the one with the juggernauts (but because there is very little space to fight them).
Oh! And for the Guardian of the Groove Invocation spell, maybe you should take a custom treant rather than the usual corrupted one. There are quite a few on the Hive :)

That's all I can think right now. I hope that'll be useful to you.
Can't wait to test again, see you!
Hi there! I think it's going in the right direction, thanks for asking! It's still on the "awaiting update" stage as Rufus saw a few things to improve but my last update did bring those things so I hope my map will be approved on its next review (the 20th of May). What about you? The last time I tested your map was about three days ago if I remember well (I didn't comment then). How is it now? :)

It is still more than lacking, please take a lok on Map Description Templates
