My family has been recovering since last year, our mother died of cancer, and in the wake of it, our family have been having difficulties keeping up with bills. I've been having to go out of my comfort zone - well, I feel that doesn't do it justice considering how -far- out of my comfort zone I need to go, but needless to say, it stresses me greatly. My birthday wasn't much of one, in light of all these events. Even now, my family and I have been in a similar spot, the same spot, as last year.
It feels almost like nothing will ever change.. but I still hold onto a strand of hope, even when logic determines otherwise. Let's hope a miracle happens.

This year my birthday is falling during finals week, so it's not going to be very fun at all most likely.
