    I'm doubtful that it does. Heavens Fall *did* used to update by using Dropbox. Essentially, it would download a text file from a static URL like "dropbox.com/Retera/hfmod/fileList.txt" and in this file was a list of other Dropbox URLs to download. They were all subfolders in this hfmod folder that was in the Dropbox Public folder. But, Dropbox changed how sharing works, so that sharing creates a very long URL with encrypted hash data, instead of using publicly visible folder names. So, to download a file directly they try to force you to see their website, and they also don't have the URL match the name of the folder it was shared from.
    Since their stuff got more complicated, the old Heavens Fall updater is just not ever going to work again. I would have to provide people with a new installer/launcher. However, there's a second problem. I am not the Nirvana mod's author, and I cannot modify 1.29 in the same way that they modified 1.26.

    For a while, there was a version of Heavens Fall that worked on 1.27 because it was so similar to 1.26 that you could basically have 1.26 stuff running the mod alongside 1.27. It was the same manner in which JNGP worked until Patch 1.28 even though JNGP was a modified copy of Patch 1.21. For the same reason JNGP is dead, having six races on the menu is dead. I'm probably not going to invest the time to program the binary code needed that they wrote in China for Nirvana that Heavens Fall was borrowing. So, Dropbox changing their system to kill my launcher was very timely, because 1.28 also killed the mod itself.

    I have a theory that I could split Heavens Fall into two mods, each with 3 races, and release them for Patch 1.29, and allow them to join each other's game. So, these two compatible mods could play LAN or Battle.net together in the same game, but you would be restricted to 3 of the 6 races based on which MPQ you were using. That is one possible way I could deploy on 1.29, but it's only a theory. And, Computer players would have to inherit their race from the host mod, but would show incorrectly on the joining mod, and so it would be confusing and bad for computer players.
    It seems unlikely at this point, that the 100 likes milestone will be reached for the WC3 v1.52 video

    Going okay. Typically I have been using Fraps to record videos, but it only works on Windows 7, and not on newer windows versions, so when I upgrade I will probably have to start using something else. I heard OBS is good but haven't really tried using it yet.

    There might be some way to get it to work sometimes on Windows 8/10. But, in my experience, it was not able to record the graphics of the desktop window manager in the same way, so you could not just record the desktop environment with Fraps like I do on Windows 7 with a lot of my videos.
    It's also possible that Fraps might have made some update that I don't know about. But, last time I tried it on my Windows 10 computer, it wouldn't record the desktop.
    Hey Retera! I wanted to ask you about your Mursoph Emperor model. I really believe that it would make a great standalone model without the murloc as there isn't really many custom Sea Giant models available. So essentially, I suppose I am making a request for this if possible with maybe some swimming animations too? XD Honestly, I'm hoping to be able to use your model for my next race I'm working on. However, it's entirely up to you as I'm sure you're a very busy person! Also thank you again for the Pit Lord edit you did for me a few months back I ended up using it in my Legion's Advance map.
    Retera, if you even want help updateing some of the old Heaven's fall models, give me a hint, I would love to make some things for your altered melee!

    Sure! Direfury's been working on new Lost Tribe unit models. Maybe you could make some awesome new stuff for the Zear? I had some WIPs for a new Encampment building and an updated Sky Cannon that never got incorporated into the mod, but a lot of the other models in the Zear are very old. I would say make whatever sounds fun to make, and we can probably stick it into the map/mod :)
