i know this, i did this but there's something i'd say you about commenting, cuz when i put "ignore". the same ignored people still commenting in my posts. there's no option to take them out of my post? how can could i delete their comments?
do you know how i could unlock conversations i've blocked before. i'd want to show you something you should read about a guy name masterblaster wrote me.
Is this what you are referring to? https://www.hiveworkshop.com/pastebin/49828157255d4979406ebcf940b10e7214877/ . In that I find you to be the rude one. Be careful how you behave. I know people are on your back attacking everything you say atm but be careful how you handle it. Best just to ignore it and move forward in a better way.
he deleted comments in this conversation, saying worst things. and this is not the real conversation i talked you. i talk about the Private conversation. and he said me this trying to say "show me how good you're or just a bummer" as you see in that post.
In this context, the word 'bummer' means that MasterBlaster was disappointed. That's all. He is not referring to you in any way. https://www.thefreedictionary.com/bummer
Now from the Pastebin, I personally see no problem with what *any of you two* have written here. I even have the feeling that your general tone was relaxed, especially because of the hilarity of the smiley at the end. Maybe you were even a little bit ironic somewhere and tbh, maybe MasterBlaster was a little bit ironic too, about him being so disappointed.
Therefore, there should be no hard feelings between you two imho.
:)
I understand that English is not your first language, am I right?
That's exactly the meaning I was going for. And yes, I was actually disappointed. Perhaps I didn't express that properly - I don't know, but the reality is that I didn't say that with any irony in mind.
The reality is that while I do consider myself to be fairly fluent in English, it's not my native language. Just like it isn't maxxus'.
And hell, misuderstanding do happen even between people who speak the same language as their first one, so I don't see anything weird in them happening between two people who try to communicate in a foreign language.
And right now I'm actually really suprised that it could have been the word "Bummer" that got him so offended. I only knew one meaning of this word - the one that I've used it for - but apparently it turns out that somehow it can be interpreted in another way...
At any rate, I wasn't ironic about being disappointed. I admit, when I saw Maxxus advertising himself as someone who is good at writing stories, I was skeptical at first.
Well, let's be honest - he does struggle with English (I do not mean that in an offensive way, just stating the obvious), so I've though that even if he is good writer that would prevent me from actually enjoying his stories.
And then I saw that his project was about the Lich King - one of my favourite characters in Warcraft lore. That made things even more interesting for me. So I've thought to myself - "hey, why not try? He might have some issues with English, but that doesn't mean he can't have some really cool ideas and he likes the same Warcraft character so we do have something in common".
And the truth is that I'm currently working on a project of my own and I could definetely use someone to discuss the story with. Thus, I've thought, it would be nice to ask Maxxus for one of his stories and see whether I like his style.
I didn't say all of that to him intially, because I didn't want to write a whole damn novel in his comments like I'm doing now, but since the situation went south and he continues to bring me up - I think a detailed explanation is in order.
Back to the point - and yes, I've also wanted to see whether he is as good as he says. That wasn't meant as an offence to him - we're in the internet, everyone can literally claim everything and I'm just a kind of person that prefers to believe in things that he can see rather than what people are telling him. And thus, I wanted to see for myself whether his claims were true (in my subjective opinion and to sate my personal curiosity that he sparked by him making said claims).
