  • I have been busy doing computer programming, graphic arts, creative writing, and computer gaming on my Windows 11 Gaming PC. I love playing Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo games.

What genres do you like most?
I got an almost daily gaming group on Steam/Bnet from all over the world (mainly EU).
We are trying out many games, also playing the golden oldies like WC3, Warhammer Dawn of War.
Push me a PM if interested
I have been thinking about getting a MacBook Pro for computer gaming, creative writing, and computer programming, but I understand that a PC gaming laptop running Windows is the best choice for computer game and application compatibility. PC computers are also often less expensive than Macs and you often get more for your money. You can also open a PC up and customize its hardware. PC computers are also great for running Linux, using WSL, using a virtual machine, as a dual boot, or alone.
I am glad that I found out Warcraft 3 and some other Blizzard games are compatible with macOS. The Apple Silicon chip is high performance, efficient, and high quality and great for creativity and gaming. PCs with Windows are still the best for application and game support and are often less expensive than Macs.
I have been spending time learning more about the C and C++ computer programming languages using a PC gaming laptop running Windows 11. C and C++ are great languages to learn because they are high-performance, middle-level, and mature. C++ is also a modern computer language, while C is not. PC computers running Windows are great for development because most desktop computer users use Windows, making it lucrative to develop for, and Windows supports many computer programming languages. PC laptops running Windows support many computer games and also support OpenGL and Vulkan.
I have been busy learning more about game development using C, C++, OpenGL, Vulkan, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code using a PC gaming laptop. Most desktop computer users and desktop computer gamers use Windows running on a PC, so PCs are one of the best platforms to develop applications and games for.
I have been busy spending time learning more about Mac computers. Mac computers are high performance, secure, and private machines. Windows PCs are still better for gaming. Mac computers do not support touchscreen technology, OpenGL, or Vulkan. Mac computers are great for computer programming. Mac computers can be expensive, but they are high quality. Mac computers come with the M-Series Apple Silicon chip which is high performance and high efficiency. If you own an iPhone or an iPad, they will pair great with your Mac. Most people use Windows, but Mac is a great alternative to Windows.
I have been busy spending time learning more about game development with C# and Unity.
I have been thinking about spending some time learning more about web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
I have been busy learning more about C and C++. C and C++ are my favorite computer languages because they are fast and efficient. C and C++ are also mature, so they are well documented and supported. C and C++ can be used to program operating systems, applications, and games.
Interesting to see you’re from New Jersey. I’m currently in New Jersey too! Anyway, Merry Christmas!
I wanted to wish you all on the Hive Workshop a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and Happy Holidays! I hope you all enjoy time with friends and family, eat good food, and open good presents!
I have been busy deciding between building a custom game engine, or game engines, for some computer games I want to make, in a language like Java, C#, C, or C++, using OpenGL or Vulkan along with one of those languages, or make some computer games using a premade game engine like Unity, Unreal, Godot, or GameMaker.

Using a game engine like Unity saves you time because you have a prebuilt interface and engine to work with but if you start from scratch you can make the game exactly what you want to and you understand every line of code because you wrote it. You also have to pay to make monetize your game if you make it with Unity whereas if you code a game engine or game in C#, C, or C++ it is yours, provided the API you use is free. Unity is cool but there is a lot to learn.

Yeah, the XNA project, we (me and 1 friend) made everything from scratch. We made simple GUI-components, buttons, modals, scrolling, 2D animation handling, 2D raytracing... Everything (almost) from scratch.
I kinda don't want to do it all again, so I'll definitely use tools for my future projects :p
I'm just not friends with Unity yet and I think Unreal is even "worse".

Unity and Unreal are not perfect but when it comes to making games using a game engine will save you a ton of time and headache over building everything from scratch. Unity and Unreal have poured tons of money, time, and people into developing their respective game engines so it is unrealistic one person can make a similar scope engine in any reasonable amount of time and effort. Good luck with finding the right tools in the future.
If I have the time I will continue updating Warcraft Europe and my other Warcraft 3 custom maps.
I wanted to apologize that I have not been spending much time on my Warcraft maps, I have been learning computer programming. I am interested in learning more about Java, C, C++, OpenGL, and Vulkan.
Hi guys! How are you all? I am well. I have been thinking about getting around to updating my maps and making new ones some day soon. Be well!
I have been thinking about updating and improving all my maps. Sorry for being gone so long.

I was able to add some of Scandinavia, Russia, the Middle East, and North Africa to my larger Warcraft Europe map. I am still working on it though.
I have been working on my original Warcraft Europe map and a bigger one too!
I have been editing my enhanced and custom race objects last I worked on my maps.
Thankfully we have not gotten too much snow this winter here in New Jersey. Thing have been rather warm here in New Jersey at times.
I have been busy with other projects for the past couple months but I will try to get around to updating my maps again.
I added the Plague Trent, Snow Queen, and Satyr Overlord to Warcraft Europe V78.
I fixed the enemy random transport drop triggers and enemy peon harvest triggers in Rise of the Horde V27.
I added enemy Peon lumber and gold harvesting and two random enemy transport drops to Rise of the Horde V25.
