    Great advice, thanks. I also already knew a little bolt technique but when I'm lazy, there's some brushes floating around that help haha. I couldn't find much on attachment preparation in the modeling forum, but I imagine there is a standard procedure for attachment models before exporting so their position and angle is correct and that they fit in the hand properly either left or right?
    Yeah, there was no other options. Did you test also the transport part? I made it move (instantly) via triggers to prevent it wandering off for various reason and to avoid some pathfinding anomalies.
    Hey. I was looking through the WiF thread and was wondering if you have any tips on achieving the grey metal texture like the first couple of panzer tank pictures in the OP. I looked through tutorials on hive and other sites but those are either for icons or really high quality stuff. I'm working on a shield and I feel that sort of look would be nice for it. On another note, do you know of a fancy term to sort of remove the width of a model in 3ds max? I figure that for WC3, the shield might as well be flat since I'm using bend modifiers and it's pretty much paper thin anyways, and straight up deleting stuff kind of makes the back "invisible." Also saves pointless unwrapping and texturing. Thanks, hope all is well with you and your projects!
    I'm thinking of making a map set in late antiquity and early dark ages about the fall of Rome. Factions may include Romans, Greeks, Goths, Celts, Scythians, Huns, and maybe Persians. Do you still have those ancient empires models, doodads, and tilesets?

    Edit: Found some in Pson's old threads, and some cool screens of roman soldiers you did. Where those ever finished?

    God yeah, this is pretty weird. Data structures was an awesome class. If you do the Masters, go for CSALL (think it's called MPALG these days, but whatever). Only reasonable choice. >:)

But I've jumped the gun a bit and started with my Masters already. Doing Algorithms alongside Finite Automata and Formal Languages right now. Shit's awesome.

    Fingolfin: Please add some particles to the death animation. Some more detailing would also be nice; since it's a storage, why not add some crates, logs, or barrels outside? A simple box with a roof is just not sufficient for approval.

    Wouldn't crates and boxes be a limitation ? As it is considered a doodad, and not a building ?
    I consider crates, boxes, barrels, ... as something the user can manually add, if he wish to.

    You can move my third hut to Needs Fix, too, it hasn't death particles either. I fix it next days.

    Happy b day finny. Been trying to optimize helms deep here and there. Main problem is multiplayer lag so I am reducing player count ect. Might even get rid of the option to make the uruks playable by users, also cut the into cinematic. Lot of reworking the triggers to come.
    Fingolfin was wondering if you will continue your Greek models, as you said you would be doing a Greekyard (Heh Shipyard) and a Siege Workshop.
    Could I give some suggestion for the upcoming version for World In Flames?
    I could suggest that you could include some Anti -Tank Units and some Kamikazes Plane for the Japanese...
    P.S. If all of those has been planned, So then I may find some more WW 2 units....
