  • Yes, please. I do think so too, actually I really learned a lot from this (also too many advices and feedbacks) and I try to apply what you say here to my current skin (Sky Sorceress) and from updates to updates I learned many things. :) Well, I was thinking on my next skin will be based off from Sylvanas.
    ----------
If a unit has less mana than there should be for drain, they will not lose mana
    ----------
Sorry this is a little confusing, do you mind elaborating?

    ----------
I've got no air units currently in map
    ----------
Good! Let me know when you do. I will have to change the algorithm for the parabola.

    ----------
Just one thing, the spell should be instant cast, not AoE targetable.
    ----------
My apologies! The description sounded like Target AoE.
    How's this o:

Right now some things I have coded:
Only units with mana will release and be able to pick up the orb
The caster will not release an orb
After 10 seconds, orbs will disappear
Only "Mana loss" from units inside initial AoE supports multi-level

    Questions I have:
Are there any other multi-level variables you would like?
How should I handle units that have mana, but have 0 or less than the minimum mana loss (20+10*level)?
Should units with 100% mana be able to pick up orbs?
Do you have any air units in your map? My current algorithm doesn't support parabolas for air units

One other thing I should state is that the spell only looks good because I added a shadow to the dummy unit xP it adds so much depth to the special effects. I apologize for the delay as well, I was so picky about what special effects to use (:
I'm sure I sent you two separate messages, as my judging had too much text to be sent in one message. If you cannot find the other half, I'll re-send my judging.
Depending on my mood about the zephyr contest, I may either participate or just work on your requests. I'll most likely fulfill your requests since I'm not diggin' how it has been handled so far. I'll let you know!
LOL which do you like better:
    [STABLE]Set Damage[1] = 50
    Set Damage[2] = 75
    Set Damage[3] = 100
    -------- Level 1: 50 / Level 2: 75 / Level 3: 100 --------
    -------- --------
    Set Damage = 25
    Set DamagePerLevel = 25
    -------- Level 1: 50 / Level 2: 75 / Level 3: 100
    -------- --------[/STABLE]

They each have their benefits and cons. The latter is better if you plan on having an insane amount of levels (imagine having to create a 50 level spell with the former way? xD). The former is better if there isn't a "pattern" to how the damage increments.
I'd rather do the former if that is okay. How did you want me to setup the config options to be like? Did you want me to describe you stuff, did you want per level to be stored into an index or an arithmetic?

Spell Coder - some spells I can't even think about doing. Looking also for someone experienced in Jass coding to make my life easier.
    ----------
Oh? o: why do you prefer JASS?

Alright mam, I'll have your respect. I won't bother you anymore with the contest results or any other.

    Goodbye.

Can you send me a full copy of their scorecards please? I'll just look at it :3 can you name in PM of the judge that hasn't released his/her results?
    R
When are you gonna posts the results?

i can't understand your addiction on adding thin blacklines in all over your artwork sometimes
    Hey Apheraz,

I was wondering if you could help me out with something.

I tried to attach your great JadeMaiden skin to Ujimasa's modified version of Sylvanas Windrunner since it also shows the hair on the model instead of the portrait only.
However, I encountered a little problem. The hair simply turned black.

I'm no expert at this, but I *think* that the red missing part is responsible for that.

You know, I really want to use your skin with that model since I consider this model much better than the original (and your skin's quality is outstanding as well, of course!), therefore I wanted to know if there was any way to add this part to the skin? :)

Edit: Oh, nevermind, I found a way to fix it by attaching the hair from Jaina's skin to the model. I'll still keep this VM here, just for your information. :)

Please help me, Aph, I'm begging you.

Are you gonna post the results? I might provide the Award Icons and a surprise present.
