  • from the same site..? but it's a trial
there's not really 'free version' that would be piracy <w<
I really don't know.. every map i tried to start got crumbled over my head.. lol
matrix eater.. i dunno you might wanna ask Retera, but it looks to me that it worked alright with blp

as for picture, eh..that's kinda like admiral proudmoore, but i'm not sure if anyone did a skin like that
well that's how they were set up
i know vertex modifier uses either jpg or bmp
    and mdlvis uses blp
not really sure.. humans always had lion statues as decorations
Blizzard adding lions as mounts was more to get us to spend more ingame gold and get more achievments, than really thinking about from where those lions came xD, but since nightelves already have sabertooth tigers, lions aren't that much of a stretch

and lions are mostly found in the savana
when you press F3 in mdlvis, you get 3 tabs. one is bones, other animation and third is where you animate. so you go into the animation one, make a new animation, set how long you want it to be (1 sec = 1000 frames), and then go into the animating one. Set the first and last frame to look the same (can copy from stand or stand ready animation), and then you just tinker, move stuff, get to know how it works. each frame is one position for your animation. but you can leave a massive amount of frames empty and still get a nice animation, if you tinker with it long enough. be sure to backup what you're working on because you will fail, that's just the learning process :p

what else to say.. go to mdlvis animating tutorial here in the tutorial section (3D sub-section)
that's how its done, when you select a bone, or any node, you're shown which bone its attached to. you still have just that one bone selected
red bone (not pivot) means that is the currently selected one and that you wanna adjust it or work with it.. black bone is the bone your selected bone is attached to, aka parent bone
paladin and shaman are two craziest classes the PvP maniacs use :p Rogues are at least nice enough to one-shot you and leave :p
Hmm.. i've always been hunter :p pretty quick to kill off any beast. not so great for me with all the other PvP maniacs around xD
everyone would run into creating naga as they were with deathknights? or that will now with demon hunters?
nope, i was playing cataclysm until my private server had a wipe

now i'm waiting on if WoW finally implements naga as a playable race or not :p
well.. in mdlvis, you use 'F3' to switch the mode into bone/animation tweaking, there you can simply select the mesh and bones. or simply see what moves and what doesn't.. if there's no bone near the feet, that means the model doesn't have any
rigging something means attaching it to something, so yeah, maybe you didn't attach the feet correctly.. or the thing i said below
hmm.. that maybe means that models you tied to merge don't have the same skeleton (aka bone structure and bone names) or that you didn't rig the feet right
Hmm.. let's see.. you can do it in a few ways.. copy/paste it between two models in 'mdlvis', Import a geoset in 'vertex modifier', or simply have it added with 'matrix eater'

all three of these are useful programs, but they all come with a bit of a learning curve, or trial and error
mdl is just more editable version of mdx (aka game's model file), which allows you to do more things to it, from getting rid of helper objects, to adding new animations, and more
'mdlx converter' is the best tool to convert to and from those two model files
well don't get discouraged.. ask like.. the exact thing you'd want to do to a model and i (or other peeps) would surely tell you how
from the tutorials here.. also from one on the net that i can't seem to find now.. about milkshape modeling.. did a piranha model outta it
Leeroy Jenkins is a WoW chara that appeared in one youtube video, and it was a joke about raiding parties that calculate so much percentages of their raid-survivability, apparently the user who was playing the chara went to grab a snack while the rest of the gang was numbercruching, when he returned, he simply yelled "alright let's do this! LEEEEROOOOY JEEEENKINS!" and charged in to the 'wasp nest' so to say XD causing a total wipe. everyone blamed him at the end, but in the end he was, 'at least i have chicken' xD

so yeah, it's not certain if that chara/user are actual or if it all was acting, but yeah.. we got him now as someone who foolishly charges forward x3
Uhh, I'll have to refuse your request... It's too complicated, it needs a custom texture and so on... Post it in the request forum perhaps?
