  • Well glad that you have got some idea from my rambling.
    If I may now ask for a favour, I'm using "Team Colored" attachments but they are always red is there a way to make it have the owners color without triggering?
    (Some of the models I use: Druid Clothes by Sin'Dorei; Simple Hood by imforfun)
    Well for the picture I can't really say much except that the trunk to be a bit taller.
    I can see how you could have trouble making such a tree considering it's nature of being a bunch of tangled roots, It looks decent enough as it is now but it certainly could do with some improvements I don't know if you could possibly improve the "mesh" of the leaves and roots.
    I'm afraid that I'm not much of help and for that I apologies, perhaps I could tell you more if I were to use Model View Editor thingy and look at it in more proximity.
    Well it's not that I'm busy, but I don't see how I could be much of help as I lack any modelling or editing "skill".
    If actually you meant to give an overall opinion on it I believe I could so such thing.
    And to respond to your second sentence, I don't think one should complain much about a missing particle when a person is willing to do it for free.
    Pardon me for peaking in others business, but if I may suggest on having Saruman having unit decay animation as well as the Generic Hero Dissipate? I find it quite useful for units to have decay animations even if they are Heroes (obviously it doesn't apply much to all) and I'm quite sure other find that useful as well. Well just a suggestion if the model should be released to the public.
    P.S. I feel like you're quite over extending, not refusing even one request from what I've seen, such a humble heart is rare those days, If I, or anyone could help you do not hesitate my dear Dave, for as long as you respond to us from your heart we shall do the same.
    Wow looks nice! :) Hmm well I think he looks amazing in the picture, it's a copy of him from the WOTR game :O He should be kinda tall because he is tall in the movies and I think the necromancer animations would fit him perfect ;)

    hi herrdave, sorry. i send you the wrong registry edit. but it changeable via notepad. just open it with notepad, and change the number 0000000 to 0000001

    http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/pastebin.php?id=xpq43g here's the map, custom registry edit, and the units folder. in order to activate it. you must do the following step :

    1. first, extract the rar files into the wc3 folder.
    2. second, move the DotA v.6.83d map files into your map folder
    3. third, double click the custom wc3 regedit files and click ok for any question for it.
    4. fourth, open your wc3 and play the new DotA v.6.83d map
    5. fifth, after all the above step done, open the wc3. and then, play the new dota map in single player.
    6. after you enter the map, you can type -spawncreeps and check out how the sentinel creeps looks like. (especially the footman)

    the footman walk animation was running to fast, and i can't do any edit through the map to change the animation speed. that's why i need to edit the original animation of the footman to slow it down.

    i know that, but this one is different. i am doing local files project for DotA. and i want to change sentinel melee creep model with footman model. i can't edit the object data just like you said. and therefore, i need model editing to make the footman walk speed look fitting, since the object data can't be edited. i can change the walk speed through unit.slk data from inside the map, and change the animation speed just like you said, but it will make the map unplayable online if i change it. the only way to solve it with editing the original animation of the model itself.
    Herr Dave was wondering how you were doing and while I'm here going to ask if there is any place on HIVE where I could suggest/request models to do. You have quite a busy schedule so I'm not gonna force anymore on you, you already done very much for all of us and I must thank you, as I never saw you refuse a request from anyone.     hi herrdave, do you know something about animation speed? i want to reduce footman model walk nimation speed to fit with my local files project, but i can't find any tutorial about it.

    (or if you able to do it, can i ask your help to do it?) :p

    I recently made an icon for your Orc Shield Bearer model, I was wondering if I could have your permission to upload it.

    Awesome models man. Just a suggestion, not a request, if you enjoy making the WW1 models you may also want to try with some russian civil war themed ones... the technology was almost identical in those wars but you can also make cavalry units since they were widely used in the wide russian steeps.

    The unwrap is about 90% finished, and the mesh is done save for the engine details and a pilot (if necessary). You can edit it as you please.
    I'll be taking a bit of a break, I don't know for how long but a lot of things have crept up off-screen and need dealing with.

    When I return, 'twill be with a flood of completed requests. For now-- Auf Wiedersehen!

    About your Templar models, I think you should make a Mounted Version as well, if you need any suggestions and advise please don't be afraid to ask.
