Would you participate in a contest you have no chance in, no matter how much fun or work you pu in your submission ?

There is, something called time. I need around two up to four hours for my current icons. Considering that contest resources have to be even more complex and perfectly executed I don't think I am going to participate. I just don't want to spend that much time on it.

Hey, do you still have the layered version of your BTNFireMage? A version of that without the fire, as an elementally neutral (no specific elements such as fire, lightning, light, or ice) icon, would be extremely useful to me. If you could make it, or send me the layered version of your icon for me to edit it myself, I would be very thankful.

Oh okay well... What can I say Sin, what's the difference between new iconers and the old ones ? People will always have different tastes in choosing subjects or art style or whatever so.. can't guide them in that. Quality of work, there yes, everybody aims for that although.. Well I have met people who don't which was kinda weird... but, I doubt that's the case with the new iconers.

Ah come on man, just contact Windrunner29 (can't say I know him/her, new? or just me being inactive xD?), NFWar I see has some recent icons, ~Nightmare, don't know him either, Chen... We'll gather people.
Besides, why would it be a fight ? It's a fun contest between users.. THW is not a professional art site, I'll say it for the 100th time, I doubt we can expect a true contest here, back in the days when it was pretty active, yea perhaps. But now it's more about.... well just doing a good old contest with some friends who.. aren't really here, most of them but.. you get what I mean. Gosh when did I join THW? 2011. It's been 4 years... wow. So much has changed to be honest. It's hard to admit it but the Warcraft community is slowly dying out.. I guess only Warcraft IV could rebirth something like THW. I see the Starcraft II modding isn't going that well either. I was really expecting it to.. grow. But Starcraft II wasn't the game for most anyways..

Oh! But. Regarding the contest, you'll find a challenge don't worry Just poke around, revive some more people. Will NFWar be entering? Did you contact Windrunner19, ~Nightmare and Chen? Those are a few we are pretty sure are active, yes? How.. oh.. ooo. I just remembered I3lackDeath. OH man, right in the memories! Ahhaa, I annoyed him so much.. hmm.. wonder how he is now... Who .. who can I think of? Maybe recheck the last icon contest, see who could possibly come around for a next round? I was gonna say Ghost765 but he's probably not gonna enter.. always wanted to see something different from him though, very curious. PeeKay? Is he still around? I'll try to think of more people...

Still not sure about any of the themes, but voted anyways. Crafting Materials seems the most appealing to me I guess... I think we might get some false numbers though since most people who won't participate will just vote for what they think is useful, but most participants (I'll bet) won't really want to draw what's useful but what's fun... We'll see, we'll see.

Hey I did not even realise this until now but would you be interested in making a loading screen image for my project (and possibly some other artwork as well)?

You surely have the skill and your style might fit very well.

I know you might be busy with the Icon Contest and other stuff going on but my project is still an early WIP so there is no need to start working yet. I just wish to ask if you could consider this.

Contestants are required to make upgrades from level 1 to level 3, something like that
