  • Your English is not bad at all. It is excellent! I wasn't really clear. I lump coherency/consistency changes all in with "grammar/spelling", even though the two aren't really related. They're all just minor edits that may make the tutorial polished, e.g. consistent capitalization/periods, clarification, or w/e. I don't think I really need to change the spelling or grammar in your case since it is already well done. But I do that with every tutorial that I approve, so it isn't something to worry about. :)

    As for the old tutorials, most of them have responses either in the thread or through PM's, and are just sitting there without updates. There are a decent few in the past year that haven't had a review, because I was very inactive though (my fault).
    You've done it dude, thank you so much. Its really cool and just what I had in my mind :)
    I think after you add something innovative or flexible to the pplayeryou deserve it, but we'll see if a smaller update would work.

    Well what I really thought about is that when the hero uses Mend on the allied unit and the unit turns invisible or uses a burrow ability, the spell will automatically stop. But when the unit is already burrowed or invisible, the mend spell can't be used on them. It means the spell wont be casted, it won't cooldown and no mana is reduced on the hero.

    But anyway I can live with that hehehe
    Yeah turning the collision off might me a good idea, the time spell was great to.

    Edit: Salary got kinda delay, especially in government. So I don't have enough money to spend on loading my wifi, until now.
    Dude it looks very nice, although what you said is true. It bugs when the hero use mend on an amphibious unit, also when I cast mend on burrowed and invisible unit. The spell cooldowns as if it was use, although it doesn't work.
    Thanks for your suggestions. They'll be put to work on my map respectively, though I am changing the Shuriken Toss ability in reference with the original one. I will try using Faerie Fire as base for Track now but it seems odd. I am making my own Track ability which focuses mostly on the footprints that are generated and I want it to not be seen in the fog. Though I might need help making the new Shuriken Toss ability. Instead of it just being a target ability, I am going to switch it to point target ability. Then the Shuriken travels to the angle it is cast, continues traveling until it reaches its max travel distance. But it will bounce if it hits a cliff or any unpathable path. Do you know the Jass code for tracking if a set of point is unpathable? Surely helps me a lot if you know...

    I don't think it's slower, but I also think the speed difference doesn't matter very much.
    For example, if the damage was triggered, and not be dealt via the explosion ability of night elves.
    How ever, it means more work for you, and is more an advice.

    Spells usually must be triggered, and not just used by object editor.
    How ever, since you already triggered a major part of the spell I already accept your's as concept, too.

    I played your map yesterday and it was pretty cool. I enjoyed the teamwork emphasis as opposed to the original pudhe wars map. I'll see if I can review it today.

    Regarding the bug, I don't know what causes it but at random points in the game some triggers just stop working. Like the game timer, it stops working whenever the bug happens. Check your triggers for the hero respawn and game timer I think there's a slight misunderstanding with using JASS/vJASS with GUI triggers. Nevertheless keep it up!!!

    Can you make another project like "Gondar (Bounty Hunter) Wars". . . (I actually made my own I'm just out of ideas about the gameplay.)
    I just wanted to say thanks again for your help with that crashing ship! If you had any idea the kind of ridiculous ideas I was preparing to try: making fake players and having them watch the ship for me, making 20 ships appear during a thick fog so players can't see them but the computer wouldn't know that (then killing them and shrinking them and hiding them in a building...resizing and moving them back as needed)... oh god it would have been awful.
    The hero is a Wisp and his like a spirit too right? And spirits can walk over water, so I guess you can let the Wisp hero get drag along through deep water with the mended unit. If that is the problem then you won't have deal with it as I don't want to make it hard for you dude :)

    Wisp automatically disengage when the target of Mend passes through to a non-walkable path, this one looks better :)

    Phase-through you mean like phase boots in DOTA, where you can walk through units? And no the trees hp wont reduce while mending.

    Yeah that's a nice idea you could make it that way then. Also is it possible if the ''MENDED'' unit go through the water and the hero will then leave the unit? I don't want hero get drag along on deep water by an amphibious unit, also when the ''MENDED'' unit turned invisible or uses a burrow ability the hero automatically leaves the unit interrupting the spell is that possible to? Mend spell can only be casted to organic, not invisible, not burrowed or submerge.
    The wisp is not vulnerable while in mend, he only sticks for 10 seconds as he transfer his hp for 10 seconds too, after that he leaves the unit :ogre_haosis: Tnx for asking dude, I can go online everyday in the evening.
