But yeah, I doubt I would have managed hard mode that's for sure. Can't really say whenever I'd manage normal since I never tried.

It's a mix tbh. Since I don't like melee maps I don't practice to get good at it. I don't want to spend hours playing something I don't really like. If you find a better word than laziness I am all ears.

Yeah, looks like they removed a lot of crusader 1 characters from Crusader 2. Not to mention the ones in expansion for crusader 1.

Well, I already asked a guy, and I'm pretty confident in his skills (after all, he wrote an AI Editor tutorial). Even though it's not as good as jass'd one, though I can't really know the difference, since I'm not very handy with coding.
