  • I will make a Tsar tank and upload it, but I must find somewhere else for the SH1 in the Russian ranks, as the Tsar tank was experimental and (in comparison) too large, I will probably have it as a very 'specific' model.

Though incredibly poorly worded on my part, imagine 12 giant Tsar tanks rolling around - too big, makes shadow problems.

Now imagine 12 small Tsar tanks zipping around, no shadow problems, but now we have a tank that looks like a remote-controlled toy that hits like a truck, and we can't have that.

Thus, I'm going to need some time to figure out how to go about this.

What penetration? And what is so demanding, you rarely zoom in in a RTS, because you have less field of view
    ----------
By penetration I was referring to the casual gamer market. A lot more people will own Xbox One than equivalently powerful or better desktop computer systems over the coming years. The Xbox One is more than capable of running RTS games due to its ample system resources.

Since it will be very easy to port from PC to Xbox One (they share a lot in common) it will open up RTS games to more people than ever possible before.

RTS games are graphically demanding for the same reason you think they are not. Because you have a large field of view you can have a lot of units and activity in view at a given time. As you increase the field of view to the entire battle field you can see thousands of units. Although modern high-end GPUs can cope with such demands, it puts huge strain on the driver stack due to the complex nature of the scene (thousands of units and different animation stages with lighting, shadows, post process effects etc).

RTS games are also very demanding on the CPU. This is because it is computing all activity everywhere all the time to keep the game synchronized with other clients. For large scale RTS games memory bandwidth can become a problem due to the quantity of different elements that need to be updated. However one of the big problems currently is that the driver stack overhead for controlling the GPU is so large that it eats away at the CPU time for updating the game state. The current result is RTS games performing badly are often CPU bound with GPUs not even being near fully utilized.

One can see this in SC2 to some extent. When playing an arcade game that is very demanding one or more clients might start to slow down the game state advancement (as it becomes un-schedulable). As long as some one else is slowing the game down you will perform perfectly, with high frame rate and smooth play (although slower due to the other person). However once the person slowing drops and you are then the slowest system the game speed will increase and your frame rate will hit rock bottom levels despite the actual display scene not being any more complex. This is because the state advancement takes away resources from running the GPU driver stack to increase game speed as close to the specified speed as possible.
Ej, nisam siguran ko je bio autor, imam neke njihove modele, nedovrsene. Pa sam se pitao da li ima neko ko je radio na tom projektu.
That's what Inquisitorial Ordo Xenos research has concluded (and promptly declared heretical). Black Library book Xenology, it covers dissection of xeno species (some known, some obscure).
I intend to add a Tsar tank, but later in the campaign, possibly as a boss, special unit, or 'secret weapon'. I am undecided on the matter.
Maybe you get some inspiration from my post that is on my profile,so check my profile :p
EDIT:to answer you'r question,it isn't bad like in my post xD
    ----------
I already read you Fail at Life
    ----------
    That's quite impolite :/

    EDIT :
If it's a joke, then it's okay, else tell me why you made this statement to me like this as it's kinda hurts a little. Nothing much, but I hate getting grudge and discomfort in my emotion.
Oh my gosh thank you so much for your generous present! This is great! xD
I am sorry to hear about your country though. I am very thankful that you could even get me a present. A cake was not necessary.
I have no idea. Sounds like nonesense to me. Israel is perhaps one of the least religious countries that I am aware of. People here are very much tolerable and tolerant.
Of course there are the fanatics and extremists, for example the Orthodox Jews, but luckily they like to live secluded lives far away from media and most folks.
I've been living here for 11 years now as a declared and proud non-Jew and peace effort\Palestine supporter with little to no trouble. I'm also aware of Christians and Muslims who live here just fine, including in my class.
The alternative was Germany. In retrospect that seems like the better choice. I cannot say that Israel is all that bad, though. Hardly the desert battleground that I'm sure most media portrays it as. I have a lovely green view out of my window and no war has affected me significantly thus far. It came a bit close for comfort, once, in 2007, when some rockets actually fell in our town during the 2nd Lebanon War. No severe injuries or casualties were sustained, though. I don't think anyone died, actually. Since then the Iron Dome was developed and the idea of living under rocket fire seems pretty far away for me.

They go by the same rules as Nazi Germany - if your father, mother, grandfather or grandmother is Jewish, you, too, are Jewish.
    ----------
Plus, if you were born in Israel, served in the Israeli army, had children here, or even lived here long enough, you gain citizenship. I know many non-Jewish people who are here on a different basis.
See, more predisposition. I really don't appreciate that.
No, I am not Jewish. I am an Atheist. My mother is an Orthodox Christian and my father is, technically, half-Jewish from his mother's side. By the rules of both religions, I am neither, since Christians go by the father and Jews go by the mother.
I live in Israel because my parents moved here, on advice from my (again, technically) Jewish grandmother, in order to find better work sources than in Russia. The reason it was easy for us to 'get in' is because by the state's rules, we are a Jewish family. They go by the same rules as Nazi Germany - if your father, mother, grandfather or grandmother is Jewish, you, too, are Jewish. At least as far as the law regarding immigration is concerned - entrance is "free" for most Jews. I'm also half-Ukrainian (father) so there's that.
I know. I have a dislike for most of my "people" as well. However, that is no reason to generalize. There are good and bad people everywhere.
Yes, I made the campaign in the original language and Scipio (one of my gruop members) translated everything in English.
Nop, i haven't made any human pirate so far.

Srry for the late response, but i had to do a lot of things in real life. :vw_sad: I'll maybe make the Corsairs of Umbar from LOTR one day, maybe they could be of use to your map/project.
yes, I did quick google search for it, and it said it is the river, so I went with it, but only after the post I read the whole thing, and it said Dunaj is the Slavic name of Vienna, but I was too lazy to edit it :D
    Thanks for the rep ;)
No I didn t use it, what is it??
I rescaled a map of Europe for it to have the same size as the minimap, then mouse over a point on the map, do alt+tab and then click on the minimap and put a tile as a marker on the map. And so on and so on to draw the border/the rivers.
it is something like viking-metal or folk-metal. And also they had changed the group, i mean some members left, some new are in. And nothing from new stuff is up for download. :)

But in my opinion thier new music is much more... mmm.. melodic
    ----------
and why didn't you vote on original thread, where only 1 (one) vote was for kasrkin mode, which was most probably voted by kasrkin himself
    ----------
I wasn't aware of the poll before.
By "malaysian", do you mean, the Malay Language (aka Malaysian Language)? Yes, but Malay and Indonesian are slightly different.

Malay have many loanwords from English, while Indonesian have many loanwords from Dutch.
    ----------
ah ok, sorry, I generalize every asian here to be filipino, as 12yr old filipinos were swarming this site since the beginning.
    ----------
    Wait. What?

(Bundle) Yes, that's because on this site, unlike more professional places, a model is good if the moderator likes it, regardless of how good it really is (where "good" is laregly based on topology, proper pixel density for unwraps, good seams, ...)
I did a search before you gave me this link. I've heard of the game but never played it. May do it sometime but I heard the second has something like wives and stuff I don't need in a strategy game...
Hello, ill just ask something, hope you can help me..
i already figured out how to export ms3d to mdx, with its animations...
but my ms3d has vertex weights, and when i converted it to mdx (or exported as mdx) it lost the vertex weights... what should i do to fix this???
