  • Weird... When automatically creating global variables, your map created the "EOT_Event_An_EOT_Is_Destroyed" and "EOT_Event_On_Interval" as "variable" instead of "real".

    That probably was because you copied triggers with the events in it when you copied the system to your map...
    However, it is impossible to use any other variable type in those events...
    Blame Blizzard ;)

    Go to Global Variables and search for those two variables and set them to "real" instead of "Variable(real)"
    "I hope you're not mad becuz my map goes wrong when I copied the spell you did for me."

    But next to that, your map didn't crash because of my stuff.
    It crashed because you are missing a struct called VarAsString_Real.
    I edited the post with some instructions, so others that find it can see as well. Hopefully its ok now.

    As for the spell, you basically want to check if the terrain is pathable, right? There is IsTerrainPathable but as far as I know its buggy and ignores destructables.
    Here is something that may work (dont have access to WE, right now but atleast the concept will be the same)

    'hpea' can be any unit. I think it's pathability won't matter, but just in case leave it on.
    E: I have read that using an item instead of a unit is better but dont know if its true or not.

    In StarCraft II you use a buff behaviour with a damage response that uses a validator to check if the attack weapon is melee. You then use an add behaviour effect which is run by the damage response to apply your poison damage buff. For multiple level support either use trigger enhanced effects to compute the damage, or a switch effect with validators to choose the appropriate damage amount to deal.

    If you are talking about Warcraft III then most of what you said sounds like a good idea. What you can do is give the dummy a multiple level unit ability and in the same trigger which creates it you set the ability level to the ability level of the carapace on the hero. There are natives (with GUI wrappers) that allow you to change the level of abilities. Unit abilities can have multiple levels (not just hero abilities). This is assuming the ability damage can be modified from the object editor, if not then your idea is also good.

    Ahh kasi naghahanap ako ng animated grass doodad hindi kasi bagay sa map ko yung shrub sa Warcraft ehh.
    If I give you a folder with a game inside, and you only copy the .exe... do you expect that the game would run?

    I think that it is pretty obvious that you have to copy and paste all triggers.
    You also have to copy and paste all objects and the text in the header file.
    Nah , if they want to approve them it's good but if they don't that's fine too , I won't bother them , ty anyways :) , best luck on your map

    Is the unit unique or any simple unit that can be trained?
    Just asking....

    I do not really know , they have not approved any of my models , i'm quite sad about that , aren't they good ? , I think it would be rude to ask them , dunno really :/

    Yes, gumagamit ako ng triggers para magkameron ng "Work" at "Birth" animation yung mga structures na walang masyadong animation.

    Map Size Limit Remover pwede mong gamitin yan para iniignore ng WC3 yung 8mb map filesize limit.

    Just Search for Geoset Animation tutorial around in hive :O you might be able to find a solution
    Well... It Won't :O It is just some part of the model got bugged :O More like tweaking than fixing though
    It Sometimes Mess out the Geoset Animation :O Though that is Fixable after that :O even though is such a pain to fix that XD
    Well.. It Kinda Reduces the quality of the animation :O sometimes turn buggy, But If It is not bugged out :O is kinda worth to do it for the space of the map. Well, I usually use that to reduce the model filesize too, as long as it doesnt act wierd, i think is ok to use it
    I would, but I'd probably forget it was there (done so before o-o) By extension I'd forget people's stuff, and probably get yelled at by a sentient tree.
    Due to a frenzied cleaning spree, I accidentally deleted my 'requests' folder, so I can't check to see which ones people wanted. The only one I can recall is a Medieval Tallship, to whom it was to go I have forgotten.
