  • A shame ,it breaks my hart that i can't aid thee
But unfortunately, there is no model knowledge in me
Those are grave news indeed, Oh well I trust in you that you'll find a way to solve all those little problems, though there's no hurry great one so take your time and make this a spiffing great model for all to admire. Good luck Herr Dave as no doubt you'll need it.
Well there its about my request, more weeks has past but no once interested in doing it. Anyway since you're busy I'll see if I can bother someone hahaha....
I am great. I'm glad you're making Serbian and Russian soldiers. What is the progress of the campaign?
I have decided Serbian hats are incredibly hard to make, holy plum-pudding scraped across a thousand feet of ham pulled from the flank of the great wilder-beast, Frank the Greater!
Well frankly, I don't know either how the ship must look, just not to be too "modern" or that "old", maybe you could use a good book or google for reference. Anyway whatever you come up to it would be much useful for me and the hive as it really lacks those even renaissance era ships. Though keep in mind that it should be a tier 2-3 ish ship in the sense of not being petite.
Herr Dave, if I may request from you some Ship models? Like perhaps the ones used in the "middle ages" (medieval times) with no fancy cannons and such, I think this may also prove useful for the Hive as it seems we don't have many of that, especially those wooden ships. I would appreciate even if you would consider such an act, and I'm sure the hive won't mind!
There was a time the same happened to me,i think from 19 feb to 24 feb i was away from hive.Sometimes real life demands all of your attention
I can give it a try. Just keep in mind that I suck at doing thing in time.
Essentially the trick works by raising terrain with the height tools and then using the deep water tool to create water(it's still preferable to start out the map with water though). Typically the deep(or shallow) water tool places water on a specific height compared to the height of the terrain, so you can manipulate this to have water on any height.
There is an option in the editor called "Enforce water height limits". This option makes it so that whenever you create water in any way, it first reduces the height of the affected area so that the water would be at the same height as it was. You have to disable this for the trick to work, although for raising already existing water you have to enable it for to remove water from under a terrain area.
There is a tutorial about the technique: Link
Heil, Herr Obusleutnant. I have not forgotten you, or your service to the Fatherland! Keep going, Obusleutnant! :ogre_haosis:
Tom through the window saw waking stars winking,
And the new slender moon early westward sinking.
Dark came under-hill, Tom he lit a candle.
Upstairs creaking went, turned the door handle.

Oh Tom Bombadil, look what Night has brought you.
I am here behind the door, now at last I've caught you!
You've forgotten barrow wight, dwelling in the old mound up here on hilltop with a ring of stones round.
He's got loose again, under earth he'll take you!
Poor Tom Bombadil, pale and cold he'll make you...

Go out, shut the door and never come back after!
Take away gleaming eyes, take your hollow laughter.
Go back to grassy mound, on your stony pillow.
Lay down your bony head like old man willow.
Like young Goldberry and badger-folk in burrow.
Go back to buried gold and forgotten sorrow.

Out fled barrow Wight, through the window leaping.
Through the yard, over wall, like a shadow sweeping.
Uphill wailing went back to leaning stone rings.
Back under lonely mound, rattling his bone rings.

(Post) I thought you are more into ww1 models, not in lotr. But having elephants is always nice. But what about those saddles? Could be used as attachment points, so you can attach a unit on it as a rider?

Jim22 and I have decided to mimic yet another of War of the Ring's tiles. Specifically the bricks in the grasslands of Gondor!

The project has only just begun, so this tile will not be out for a while, right now it currently looks like piles of torn paper on the ground, not optimal for paving the roads of a great land.
Hmm no I don't think so... I've no memory of any requests I've asked you for :-/ but well if I do I will tell you :p
Beer and meat are not hard to like. Those models look good tho.
Good day to you too, sir.
To all interested in Wrath of the Kaiser: I have hit additional animation problems which have halted the development of the Russian, Serbian, and African units.

Russia - Rifle Militia, Gunner, Flag-bearer
    Serbia - Rifleman, Gunner, Rally-Officer
Africa - Rifleman, Sapper, Camel Rider
