  • Direfury, may I ask you something? I found out when editing your models something and i don't know how to that. When you wrap your model you have all the vertices sepparated making it easy to wrap the model. But how do you sepparate them like that?
    Sorry, I haven't really had the time to learn animations. I'll probably start when I'm working on the unit aspect of the map I'm working on. At the moment I've been doing terrain, so I been doo dat doodad models.
    I understand. I make a point of listening to constructive criticism, but I usually have a very distinct vision for my models as well. If the criticism contradicts my vision, I always go with my own gut.
    I can appreciate that you find it annoying, but if I was you I'd probably just try to shut the bullshit comments out. After all we (or I do anyway) make models because we love doing it, not for anyone else.
    Just my opinion anyway.
    Dunno, I get what you're saying. It is annoying if people criticize one's work based on personal preferences. But I think mostly people are just pointing out that they think it would look cooler that way, people rarely say it sucks. I think the majority of people here give your work very good reviews.
    I'd say a bigger problem is biased moderation. Some moderators tend to rate models based on personal preferences instead of the technical quality of the model.
    Anyway it's your business, if you've had enough of it I respect that.

    Sounds cool. Wish I could offer my assistance but aside from the Warcraft modeling, I have studies and also doing a rather big project with my friend.
    You might be able to recruit someone here?

    Just finished my mid-term exams, so yeah I have a bit more free time now. At least until next month when finals come up.

    I was thinking of getting the milkshape, but there aren't any tutorials about modeling with it. Now i am trying to learn matrix eater, that is good program aswell.
    I don't know, it's just like that. Everyone creates models and gives them in-game animations, but you, you want to complete it, you made them from 0, animations and that staff. Man, if i would be able to make models like you...

    Yeah it was the wrong bone, now it works. I fixed the talking anims also. Man, it's easy to work with your models, i wish there were more modelers like you.

    Direfury, i tried to make a unit from your model Templar Justicar just like you wrote in one of your picture but the bones don't shows in the decay bone animation. I tried with the geoset animations, did not worked either. And can you show me to make Falric a unit?
    No offense but I don't think he'd be interested in a mod, especially for the old wc3 :p

    The project has been paused due to me currently playing Warlords of Draenor,the project is not dead,but currently for now there will be no progress,unless some event's change that.So hry friend?
    Oh, that is great. I tried to rewrap the hips of falric with cinematic footman's texture. Looks better, but imo it doesn't fit well.
    Yep it's a standalone game. It'll definitely be a long-term project as well, I'm not trying to rush into anything.
