Aw, dang. Good question. I don't quite recall, but I remember talking about it (either in the Contest itself or during the planning stages), and it was generally agreed upon as a nice little 'token' to all the hard work the Judges do. I'll have to get people searching for that.

No, really, if you have to know, I'm really mostly not online on such services out of two
reasons, and they are both related to what I normally do when I'm on my computer.

Either I'm playing some sort of video game, in which case I find it bothersome to go
back and forth between the game and the chatting client. Or I'm writing. And when
I'm writing, I can't have any disturbances, at all.

Because I rarely "hang" on Skype, it meddles with my processing speed.
If that is the proper technical term for it, basically it makes my PC slow.

I usually work on a "contact me if you want to talk to me" Skype basis.

Yo, I got around to judge the Kaelicious Christmas contest entries a little late. However, the top 3 still deserve their prices. Care to help me out - can't give out more than 3, or 4 or whatever it is

Maybe, yeah. I was thinking more along the lines of that stupid goddamn paperclip thing in the corner of one of those Notepad programs; not invasive, not obstructive, and goes away after being viewed once.

Ay, what do you think of some sort of 'first time' notification for the resource sections? Like the first time you visit the Skins section on your account, a little display thing pops up and tells you about basic etiquette for commenting/reviewing and rating, and a second bit detailing the simpler rules for uploading. This way, there's no excuse for people to upload simple recolors or anything of the like.

I don't know. It would be ideal to have people post but the post be invisible. I guess allowing the user to delete his post with a specific deletion message and then undelete them all when we are ready, but that seems like a hack.

Meh, I don't know about 'hack'. If it works, it works. The only problem I see with that is that only a moderator/administrator could handle the collection of entries at that point, since us regular-user-Hosts can't see Deleted messages.
But not a bad idea...
