  • In my MissileRecylcer resource I listed the fastest speed to turn 180 degrees, used by the dummy model itself, which is 0.74 seconds. A unit shouldn't have to turn 360 degrees, but if it did you just derive the time based on the difference in angle.

    I was at first trying a DDS + illusion system, but illusions too hard to register correctly.

    If I can get those two working nicely together then I can reverse-engineer damage equations to find out actual damage dealt to any unit without actually having to record/track anything and not having to use a mass of dummies.
    Better than nothing I guess.

    Well, the map script is supposed to be passed and updated by different people frequently. My idea is to pass just the script instead of the whole map (which is 5MB) every time. I hope there's another way...

    And I just want to ask since I think you're the most knowledgeable about these sort of stuffs. Is it possible to write a cinematic script in a '.txt' file and read it in Trigger Editor?

    Script goes like this:
    Line 1) Beastmaster: How ya doin' thrall!

    Line 3) Beastmaster: Fine weather isn't it?!
    Line 4) Thrall: Yes. Yes.

    ^What's more needed? And in general: Like it was before (have not tested the update) it just didn't make much sense to let it as it is.
    Normal units getting out of bounds or in water/deep water/through cliffs and so should not be accepted, or be made optional. It can affect gameplay in a negative way.

    Idk when it will be approved. :s I have exams at the moment, and there are also other users waiting much longer already for a review.

    Have you written it explicitly for your entry? Then maybe it may be accepted as part of your submission. (?)

    If you use resources by others that were written for other purposes, they probably should be approved, but like this... idk. Because how can something be approved that was written for only your entry?

    You maybe could try to contact the shaman/admin who approved this contest and ask about your situation.

    Hello :) I have a problem with your "Arcane Eruption" spell, it's very attractive and sweet. I like it but, my problem is I cannot put it into another map.
    Oh yah, and no need to help me fix that anymore ._. I have created a very very simple one for myself and its work...
    Still don't get it the uses of the Unit Indexer, by the way i imported the CTS by you.. but it causes error when I test the map :/
