  • Working on the change log and its not even done lol. check this out V3.0.2

    -Updated the weather system to include lightning and thunder that play custom recorded thunder sound clips at random. Also lightning strikes random spots on the map. The thunder sound clips are triggers by the lightning for a trully authentic storm feel.
    -The inner keep has been entirely redesigned to give it move of an underground cutaway look and to increase the detail likeness in comparison to the movie.
    -Remastered every sound clip leaving nothing out this time, especially at the end.I made them myself this time using the movie. Was much better and easier.
    -Added a couple of new sound clips throughout the game.
    -A new currency has been added, War Medallions, with a custom icon. War Medallions are earned by killing foes in battle.
    -Shops have been added to give a player usefull items to buy.
    -Barricades have been added and are purchasable at the shop in the keep. They give the ability to block certain lanes trully opening up gameplay to be played in multiple ways. Plus they are BA for ranged heroes :p
    -All hero icons have been updated to pictures of the characters from the movie :)
    -GUI has been updated slightly to display a Rohan Banner on the human gui.
    -Gate Levers have been added for ease of opening and closing doors. No more typing in long text!
    -New usable small doorway that aragorn or gimli can trigger a small cinematic with custom audio. This also builds a barricade at the front gate to slow down uruks. Can be activated by entering the small doorway to the right of the front gate.
    -New front and keep gates with 100% custom doodads. Looks more like the ones from the movie.
    -Cinematics have been tuned and updated to be not so boring.
    -Performance was increased big time by reducing over 2000 uneeded pathing blockers. Averaging 30fps on low-medium end pc's now.
    -Uruk Spawn counts are down a lot from prior versions. As well as rohan and elven unit counts have been reduced. This is to ensure good performace as well as not overwhelm the player. In result, the uruks have been adjusted properly.
    -Game time is now down to 30 minutes. No more long games. A little faster paced but i tried to keep it with the same feel.
    There was also a RED-BARON on battlenet (me) for years (from the start of battlenet), until they began deleting profiles not used often enough.. kinda a shame really. :wwink:

    Hi, I updated my Campaign and changed the terrain in the first map and fixed the lag in the following cinematics ;D Therefore I updated some of the screenshots in my map, too
    I'd be honored if you'd ever be able to finish my campaign and gave a full review (although, on second thought, just play it without another review :p ). ;)

    the resources fitting together, is it done by the uploader or by modes or what? (I saw some models and have their icons linked below saying this resource is inteded to fit with whatever)
    I dont remember exactly, but it was on some of the maps you "newly?" moderated, and in the your comment at the very end i saw

    I realisethe pending section is stilllpackwith lots ofmaps. Are the moderaters really busy till they don't have time to moderate the maps? Just for asking...
    I was thinking of redecorating the entire map with better models and perhaps custom cliffs, then fixing the triggers, then adding triggered spellsets to the Minotaur and villagers, then... I don't know. I'll ask.
    Haven't talked to them yet. What exactly is the MD thread for, though?

    hmm I thought it was ment to be flat for the animation he wanted, the amount of gold mines was understandable considering he wanted to fill it in. its not a ladder map for melee no, but a good map for fun. Look at booty bay made by blizzard. its also no where near a ladder style map, but the contest wasn't to make a Ladder map, just one playable for melee.
    Oh ok you knew I wasnt an official WHEW! I didn't want you basing my reviews as official ones.. I got worried! But hey thanks for reading them anyways! your kinda the only reason I went back to doing it TBH

    I did, I mentioned units stop moving in the map...the lones paths didn't have issues like that.
