You're hosting it? Good luck :)
Oh I was interested to judge such contest but I never had any answer so I was like : "Hum.... Kay forget it and go back to headbanging"
I'll vote, thanks for the information !
    I don't know. :D

I think that I would prefer to judge again... but I'm also not certain about this yet.^^
    What about you?
dA is the place where you can earn some easy views (especially if you draw some fan art) and is open to everyone, it really became a facebook where talented and untalented can upload their shit. If you want you can also use tumblr to publish your work, but it's a blog site, not strictly related to art.

For more professional stuff you may have a look at massiveblack.com or conceptartworld.com
There are other sites i don't recall at the moment, one i was searching right now had also a forum and allowed you to create your profile and was very costructive since there were very skilled people, but i can't find it anymore.
Ah well, when i was playing WC3, it was like 2002-2004, i once played on a custom map with models and texture never seen before, so i searched on the net and discovered this site. I know the Hive since then but decided to join only one year ago cause i wanted to try out some texturing. By the way i have a deviantart profile since ages lol.
I bought my first digital pen in 2006 but i wasn't really interested in digital painting. After a few years pencil and paper weren't enough for me so i wanted to discover more the digital medium. Now it's 4 years that i am focusing mostly on this kind of art.
Can you post a unique message including a link (here, just bbcode) which I can use for it?
    ----------
No I'm not interested in that kind of matter. And not interested to debate about this actually. And not interested to debate about anything more actually :p
    ----------
Alright... Well, that would explain why you thought we were calling you 'immoral'. I tried to explain myself, but...

    ----------
My whole intention in that post is to explain that I did not have idea to be suggested that time. The rest are just rather less important, and didn't meant to be rude, they're just based on quick thoughts.
    ----------
Alright, whatever. I wasn't trying to debate, merely console/inform you.

    ----------
Anyway, congrats for becoming a daddy!
    ----------
    Thanks. : )
    ----------
This is perfect. But I'm afraid it's kinda overheading for other users
    ----------
Lol, thanks. Although I'm not sure what you mean by "overheading" (and how it can be 'perfect' if it does... whatever that is)... : )
Yep those were my weird years. It happens to most people the first time they get on the internet. But it is only natural. It is funny to read my old posts, but it also makes me cringe. I posted a lot of stupid stuff, but it is all part of the healing process. ;P
    ----------
Look, I don't want to start an off-topic debate.
    ----------
Good point, sorry about that; moved to VMs.

    ~

    ----------
But I feel kinda positioned as immoral person here.
    ----------
This is perhaps the first thing I want to work out; I'm sorry if I gave the impression that you were immoral for not following those maxims/principles. That was never the case. It's not a matter of morality, but rather that of "propriety" or "politeness". At worst, someone not following these would be considered an "impolite" person.

And to be fair, I don't even really think you fall under that category, either. Politeness is a spectrum, and there's a big difference between "yelling/cursing at someone" and "not providing reasons/support". :p It's more like "good-better-best"; what you did was "good (enough)", but could always be "better".

    ----------
That is one invalid rule/standart/term/anything I can say. In this case, me, I don't always have time and effort to think about what I would suggest....

Anyway, why should I follow that rule/standart/term lol?
    ----------
Well, it may sound silly, but words here are important. A "Rule" connotes "has to be" or "must be", where a "Maxim" or "Principle" merely connotes "should be" or "ought to be".

Did you read some/any of the links I provided? Somewhere (I believe the Wikipedia one) it talks about "prescriptive" vs. "descriptive"; the latter simply "describes" the way things are, whereas the former "prescribes" (i.e. "tells you what to do/how to do it"). Rules are "prescriptive", while something like a "standard/principle/maxim" is generally more "descriptive".

That all boils down to mean that Grice's Maxims and the Politeness Principle don't tell you "what you should do", but rather "what people (tend to) do", "what people do to encourage X". So no need to freak out. : )

    ----------
I don't want random smartass fagots make a rule/standart/term upon me that easily. They just want to be well known, they want to popularize their names that's all, that rule/standart/term itself doesn't exist. NS
    ----------
Hey now, no need to get rude. These guys aren't after popularity; I highly doubt Paul Grice would've cared how many Likes he got on his Facebook page for this. : ) These guys are scientists & researchers and philosophers; they're not telling you 'what to do', but merely defining & organizing widespread ideas on "politeness" and "communicative cooperation"

Hope that helps. Sorry again for the misunderstanding.
I'm not very sure about it. :/

I'm still browsing through THW news, but I'm not very active atm with coding related stuff. Let's see what comes with time. :d
    1. You would have to write your own server separate from battle.net and send the data that way. I'm not going to do it.

    2. SyncStoredInteger
With the gamecache natives or you're going to have to write your own along with some type of server.
If you need it, it's really not a problem for me, i just thought incase the project was currently discontinued and you wanted to tell me to not bother with it.
I am not working on it right now, but if you need it, i can have it done in 10 minutes.
That is fine, but it shouldn't be named "Globals". It should be something more specific to your system.
