  • The Chimaera like the Elekk and the Talbuk were both native to Draenor. They were all utilized in the Draenei arsenal. Though in truth, the Chimaera was our only choice since there weren't any Nether Dragons at that time and the Kaliris were already being used by both the Orcs and the Arakkoa.

    Yes, we just fixed some bugs with new systems which i listed in our project thread.
    Sure...? All the relevant instructions should either be online (tutorials) or in the "readme" documentation of the program(s) themselves.

    Just open it up, use the "familiar-to-anyone-that-uses-Windows" File -> Open command, and search for a model/texture/whatever you wanna look at (usually an .mdx or .blp).
    No, unfortunately. Why? I'll tell you in several points:
    1.) Map size reasons. New heroes require (most of the time) a custom model, custom icons, imports, triggers and more all of which take map size - a resource I cannot afford. I am near the limit already.
    2.) Lack of proper resources. Sunken City heroes must be fitting the Horde theme and to be lore-appropriate. It's hard to do this considering the amount of heroes there are already, which brings me to the next point.
    3.) Thirty heroes in a Dungeon Crawler map. Do a research. Look at all existing Dungeon Crawler maps. Not even one is even close to that number. Thirty heroes is A LOT on such type of map.

    I think this sums it up. Most likely there won't be more heroes, I hope you understand why. What is more likely is hero replacements. If I consider a hero to be underplayed I might replace him with a new one.
    Sure, I don't mind. Do whatever you want with it, I can't really help you much since I don't have Wc3 installed nor do I have any of the Wc3 modding tools on my PC.

And this ancient city you're talking about, its inhabitants are still active and well. Nevermind, even IF you keep bugging me about them I'll NEVER give you those models. Go scavenged for all of them yourself.
    Dude, can you like stop telling people I have FoD models? I wasn't even part of the old team. I just like collecting models as a hobby. I just don't like people asking them from me because I don't have the authority to redistribute them to others.
    Make sure you have Notepad++. Check Blizzard.j and Playerslots.fdf in War3.mpq and War3x.mpq, in Blizzard.j you're looking for "Starting Units"

    Make sure to look closely at how the PlayerSlots.fdf in Nirvana.mpq is set up too. (PlayerSlots.fdf can be opened with Notepad++)

    After that, it's just converting your map files using a Widgetizer and putting everything into an MPQ using Ladik's MPQ Editor. That part I can't figure out though because you need a listfile and there's no easy way to make one other then writing up the entire list yourself. (Which would be a huge waste of time)

    Of course, put all your models, sounds, and other files in the MPQ as well.

    Finally, open your map with an MPQ Editor, and copy everything in MapScript.j and put it in Blizzard.j. Everything in MapScript.j will be all your triggers and variables. If you want Globals changed, make sure you copy thoughs out of MapScript.j as well.

    And one last thing, you need to make a text file, put this in it: Nirvana.exe -mpq Custom.mpq -race YourRace1, YourRace2 (Replacing "Custom.mpq" with your MPQ, and YourRace1/2 with your race's name. This is also confusing a bit. I don't really know everything about it yet and that's one of the things holding me back on my mod.)
