So sad and funny news today, Norway refused to host the 2022 winter olympics which for me is really tragic because I love skiing and ice hokey and I don't need to use a passport to travel to Norway.

Now on to the funny part, Sweden and Ukraine have also both backed down which means that the two remaining candidates are China and Kazakhstan. If it's in China it will be hosted in Beijing which doesn't have a mountain suited for skiing for 50 miles around. So why did Norway reject hosting the winter olympics? The IOC has a 7 000 pages long document of demands. These demands include that the minibar must be stuffed with coke products and that guests must be greeted with seasonal fruits or pastry on arrival. I might be the only one asking this but what the hell is a seasonal pastry in Oslo during February, what could possibly grow in -20 degrees Celsius?

I've added in periodic Storms. They darken the skies, create a thick fog, and include a couple brief, blinding Lightning Strikes. I'm going to have "Murloc Stormrunners" make raids on the four bases, coming from the Badlands. They're crazy weak, probably enough that a peasant could kill one, but attack suddenly.

I cling for a number of reasons. Most people wouldn't survive my past intact, and because I have, I use it as a cautionary tale for others I see going through the same trauma. It provides a level of insight that, unfortunately, quite a few too many people simply do not have. So that whole discussion about boss themes got me searching. I'd watched whole playthroughs of Sega games I used to play as a kid, like Sonic & Knuckles, and Rocket Knight, plus a few others.

Now that I'm modding games, those seem so... outdated.
