No, I don't want him in battle scene (I said marching, not battle). You got it right, something like, spirit that shows his presence and power. That :)

Do you still take signature requests? If you're interested, here is the request I posted some time ago. Exactly like I discribed it.
Look behind you :insert epic music here:.Nah I was in the chat but was afk,saw it later.
I'm gonna beat the hive record for most triggers in one map! Btw are you obsessed wit cake?
Well eminem is the rapgod,I'm the trigger god and dark-zalor is the hero arena god so I was just wondering
(Oh and, after taking a look at the 'Signatures' album on your profile I can conclude that your're already working with a pretty nifty style yourself. Keep it up, as there's a lot of promise in there!)
Nothing, 'cept for that which is specifically requested, is mandatory for sigs. Borders can be nice to tie a sig together, but sometimes a soft fade on the edges will have a far better effect. It really depends on the rest of the sig, and as with all graphical work you're going to have to make the judgement call of what looks best on a case-by-case basis.

As for glows, I have used just about all imaginable kinds of glows in the time that I've worked with photoshop. Again, it's always going to be something you'll have to make the judgement call on yourself. If you're in doubt then try putting one on, since if you've followed proper procedure and made backup layers (or files) of your work then you can always just turn it off again.

In general, though, if you want to achieve stuff which looks like what I do then try and avoid putting your stuff in boxes. If you look at my work you can see that most of it makes use of transparent areas and irregular shapes, which generally is the biggest diffirence between the stuff I do and that of other sigmakers.
Imagine that you're designing a coat of arms or a medal of honour, rather than a boxed image on display.
    Heh, thank you.
It's not all that hard to accomplish though, in all honesty. If you or anyone else from the workshop would ever like some pointers on how I do my graphics, feel free to ask.
Well, the current one I have is already working, but I get the feeling it's bloated so I decided to opt for vectors, but I just realized that I don't know how it works. How about you ask Almia, I think he can make a better system than me!! lolol
How's the map you're working on? The system you asked me to make is still not finished, because I suck at math lol.
Thanks good luck to you to! I don't have time to chat now. Sorry for leaving you so fast!
It's fine, I am solving my problems and I'll go on a journey to be the man soon :P
I'm generally drawing and making artworks on Deviantart http://tobyfredson.deviantart.com/ and I gotta catch some paid requests to. I'll I'm missing now is a wife and kids XD

    shes so sweet...
Let me guess, you're gonna use the Shandris model? I think there are already a couple archer heroes; or atleast the Blessed Ranger. I think you'd get more points with a more unique kind of hero. Maybe you could make use of the Watcher and Spirit Watcher models if you wanna stick to Night Elves.

One of the main complaints about my Arcanist was that she had too much raw damage; I'm noticing that with your Night Ranger. I'd suggest shifting the damage around, applying various debuffs. Let's say you lower the range on the ultimate, use 'impale' as a base, without the knockup, just a brief stun. Trigger it so that if the impale ultimate strikes an enemy unit with a debuff from your other abilities (a slow from one ability, a silence from another) they suffer an additional effect plus more damage (a flat out stun, and an AoE silence originating from the originally silenced unit).

Not suggesting anything other than a reshuffle in the kit, the rest was simply an example of what I meant. Is ultimately up to you, but I thought it'd be nice to give you my thoughts.
