  • 1) Huh. Well that's comforting (that everything you've done can be done in Audacity).

    2) Lol, really? That pretty accurately describes me (as I've learned somewhat recently, I am that nasally & annoying. xD). I must say, in that case, that I'm impressed by the range; the FlameTank Goblin & the Tradeprince Goblin sound markedly different (a problem I'll run into with Trolls).

    3) Hm, that's something to consider. Sounds like I'm going to have to try speaking a lot deeper to start with, rather than talking normal & pitch-shifting the heck out of it. :p
Fascinating new samples you've put up in your thread. I am lovin' the range and, of course, your generosity in doing all this. :p

I'm still looking around for a good role (& also trying to figure out exactly how to A: use custom sound-sets easily & well, and B: how to use them in a custom MPQ. Problems, problems. :< Regardless, had a few questions:

    1) What program do you use to record? I've got Audacity myself, and it seems pretty nifty but a bit difficult at the same time.

    2) How do you pull off those Goblin voices? Is there really any modifications necessary (or what you might call "standard" for a Goblin voice), aside from "creaky, high-pitched & crazy"? :p

    3) Same as #2, but for the Troll(s): any particular vocal cues or sound effects? I've found a -20% Pitch Shift makes a reasonable approximation, but I'm still working on my Jamaican, lol. :p

Keep it up! And let's see about getting another Voice Acting Contest going, mayhaps; it's been too long. :p
Wow you're good :D Can you do an Ogre Warlord and an Ogre Warrior voice? (both with one head)
    Reputation (+2):
(Post) We don't have enough Voice Actors in this hallowed field of Wc3 Modding. It's been far too long.
Woah, I checked your voice acting examples and I was truly amazed by it, all that sounds so professional, I didn't expect someone around here to be that good actually. Good job on those voices. :)
    Congratulations!
Your name now features in the staff (voice actor) in the project thread.
I have used words of praise to describe you in the latest post.
If you will like I will link your name to your profile.
    Thank you :)
Thank you much. I was away for a day. I just saw your message.

I will send you descriptions of characters along with their concept images and screenshots. I will also send you soundsets of pre-existing and corresponding game characters so you can understand the voice textures and personalities better.
If you follow any other protocols please notify me ahead so I can plan accordingly. My own knowledge of working with sounds isn't much, so this is all I could think of for now.

I will need only limited dialogues per character because I plan to keep the file size low.
    So workload won't be much.

I am looking forward for a creative, fruitful and fun partnership ahead.

    warm regards

Hey, I noticed something annoying. Apparently Warcraft 3 does not like mp3 files. So you have to somehow make it still be wav while finding some way to still compress it
    Hello
I saw your Voice acting service thread and I commend you for the quality of your talent. I would like to procure your service for my project : Redemption Denied. It has received favorable reviews although still in alpha stage of development. On its beta release I planning to get it hosted by the site.

Please take a look at the project page to see if you will be interested in voicing some of the characters.

Good day to you! As I said on your thread, you're not supposed to make an exact copy of that show, let the imagination roll :)
